Fleas Navidad

We'd like to add that presenting the dog to the child on Christmas day may not be the best idea. New dogs in the middle of a new home and family, in the middle of the high-energy and high-spirits of the Christmas holiday, can become easily overwhelmed. Dogs that are overwhelmed can become ill, nippy, fearful or stressed.

Is it possible to give your son a photo of the dog on Christmas day, and then present the live dog to him after your holiday festivities are over?

You should name it Charlie if it's a boy, Lady if it's a girl, or if you really can't decide, then just let your son choose the name, naming a pet is always a fun experience, plus you'r son will feel like the dog belongs to him more if you let him name it!
Have fun with the new puppy, and good luck!

You should name it santa paws. Or try naming it from its personality. You should also let your son name the dog since its HIS dog and he might not like the name that you give his dog. ...just some advise. I mean I wouldnt like my parents naming my dog..because you know maybe they will name it something bad or something. Well i dont know about your son but i think he might feel the same. BUt you really outa just get the dog and maybe then discuss the names you like and if he doesnt like them then just discuss what names he would like. Well good luck. (F.Y.I. this is from a kids point of view.)

I would let your children decide the name of the dog. However if you would like to decide the name make sure the name fits the dog. I also heard that names ending in "o" lead to a quicker response from the dog learning their name.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!

Some cute names might be:
Dasher
Dancer
Prancer
Vixen
Comet
Cupid
Donner
Blitzen
Rudolph
Snowy
Snow Ball

Here's a website with 2000 names. I would also suggest that you wait a couple of days after you have brought your puppy home to see what kind of personality he or she has. Then you'll have an easier time picking a name and your dog may actually help you with the name...:)

first be advised, you are getting a dog for your son in name only. you will be the one to take care of it, maybe not right away but within the year, be it one month or 6, you will be the one so pick a name you like

How about Navtividad? Which means born on Christmas day. Another good one would be Paloma which means a dove. Hope this helps!
