SOCIAL SERVICES?

HERE IS A COMPILED LIST OF WHAT ILLEGAL ALIENS CONTRIBUTE, IS ANYTHING MISSING?

They contribute to a declining economy.

They Contribute to lowering of our education.

They also contribute to increasing lawlessness and declining social culture.

They contribute to closing of hospitals and breaking the budget on social services.

They contribute to bringing third world diseases into the country along with drugs and slave labor.

In fact if there is anything negative in an immigrant population the illegal aliens excel at it.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
cuts into the wages of American Workers
To The Tune Of Some $ 200 Billion (With A "B") Annually

According to Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.),
who is head of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus,
"Massive immigration of low-skilled, low-wage workers
depresses wage rates
for people who are at the low economic end of the scale.
The overall effect will be the decline of the living standard
of every American, or most Americans."

According to TNRIP, the financial cost
of this foreign invasion to U.S. taxpayers is staggering!
Here is a break down of the annual costs:
Education: $22.5 billion
Bi-lingual Education: $3.3 billion
AFDC: $2.4 billion
SSI: $2.9 billion
Social Security: $24.8 billion
Housing Assistance: $2.6 billion
Criminal Justice: $2.6 billion
Jobs Lost by Americans: $10.8 billion
Other Programs: $51.4 billion
Food Stamps: $7 billion
Health Care: $1.4 billion

(That Totals $131.7 BILLION Annually Folks)
http://prisonplanet.com/articles/april2006/050406_b_Immigration.htm

This Estimate Does NOT Include
The Some $39 Billion (Again With A "B")
UNTAXED US Dollars Exported Annually
In The Form Of Remittances

($39 Billion Is Exported ANNUALLY To MEXICO ALONE
BILLIONS Of More US Dollars
Are Exported To Nations OTM
By ILLEGAL ALIENS To Their Families At Home)

ILLEGAL ALIENS OF ANY RACE / Nationality
Also Contribute To The High Cost Of HEALTH CARE
Because They Have No INSURANCE
And Its YOU The TAXPAYER That Supports The System
That Governs The Health, Education, And WELFARE
That Many ILLEGAL ALIENS Take Advantage Of
(This Is A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION To YOUR
EXTREMELY HIGH HEALTH INSURANCE RATES Folks)

WE THE PEOPLE Should NOT Be Made To SUPPORT

ILLEGAL ALIENS Of ANY RACE / Nationality
Are A Burden To OUR (AMERICAN) Education System
By OVERCROWDING Classrooms
And Making It Virtually Impossible For (Underpaid) Teachers
To Give The Neccessary Time And Attention
To The Individual Students

Millions of LAW ABIDING US CITIZENS
understand what is at stake,
and wonder what our response should be
to sedition, intimidation and acts of defiance
against our republic and our ordered liberty.

If Americans were doing the jobs legal & illegal aliens have ALL money would have stayed in the US and benefited here. ALL workers would have paid their fair share of taxes. ID Theft, social security & tax fraud would be a lot lower Hospitals would not be closing ER's or going bankrupt because of unpaid services that were provided to illegals. States would collect a larger portion of property tax as 1 person would rent a 1 bdrm apt instead of 5, and 1 family per home instead of 2 or 3 families per home. People would not be accessing welfare using fake or stolen social security numbers leaving those benefits for Americans. The cost of public safety would go way down. The cost of incarceration would go way down. Americans would patronize American businesses and use services provided by AMericans. Illegals patronize the businesses of their countrymen. We wouldn't be forced to pay an additional $365 per student for ESL classes. The quality of our children's education would improve We wouldn't have people who are here illegally demanding in-state tuition or the Dream Act.

President George Bush, a strong supporter of the guest-worker program, has long said that "family values don't stop at the Rio Grande." We are supposed to believe, however, that the work ethic does stop there So it is only south of it that people can be found who are willing to work in construction, landscaping and agricultural jobs. So, without importing those people into our labor market, these jobs would go unfilled, disrupting the economy (and creating an epidemic of unkempt lawns in Southern California).
This is sheer nonsense. According to a new survey by the Pew Hispanic Center, illegals make up 24 percent of workers in agriculture, 17 percent in cleaning, 14 percent in construction, and 12 percent in food production. So 86 percent of construction workers, for instance, are either legal immigrants or Americans, despite the fact that this is one of the alleged categories of untouchable jobs.
Oddly, the people who warn that without millions of cheap, unskilled Mexican laborers, this country would face economic disaster are pro-business libertarians. They believe in the power of the market to handle anything, except a slightly tighter labor market for unskilled workers. But the free market would inevitably adjust, with higher wages or technological innovation.
Take agriculture. Phillip Martin, an economist at the University of California, Davis, has demolished the argument that a crackdown on illegals would ruin it, or be a hardship to consumers. Most farming, livestock, grains, doesn't heavily rely on hired workers. Only about 20 percent of the farm sector does, chiefly those areas involving fresh fruit and vegetables.
The average "consumer unit" in the U.S. spends $7 a week on fresh fruit and vegetables, less than is spent on alcohol, according to Martin. On a $1 head of lettuce, the farm worker gets about 6 or 7 cents, roughly 1/15th of the retail price. Even a big run-up in the cost of labor can't hit the consumer very hard.
Martin recalls that the end of the bracero guest-worker program in the mid-1960s caused a one-year 40 percent wage increase for the United Farm Workers Union. A similar wage increase for legal farm workers today would work out to about a 10-dollar-a-year increase in the average family's bill for fruit and vegetables. Another thing happened with the end of the bracero program: The processed-tomato industry, which was heavily dependent on guest workers and was supposed to be devastated by their absence, learned how to mechanize and became more productive.
So the market will manage with fewer illegal aliens. In agriculture, Martin speculates that will mean technological innovation in some sectors (peaches), and perhaps a shifting to production abroad in others (strawberries). There is indeed a niche for low-skill labor in America. The question is simply whether it should be filled by illegal or temporary Mexicans workers, or instead by legal immigrants and Americans, who can command slightly higher wages.

thanks for pointing OUR problem - now, lets put you in the shoes and life of a guy who is not making it in mexico - your basically starving, your Catholic upbringing gives you a sense of duty to God and family - your really starving- if you only die, that would be a blessing - but what the h3ll, see if you can find a job in the Norte (north -ie: USA) - you are WAY past worriing about if it's legal or not - you children will probably die of hunger - you cry a lot to yourself because there is simply no way out of the mess your in - You have no money, you live in tar paper shack- the gangs rape your wife and daughters -

so you think they care if rich Americans might be "put off" by your lowly existance?

Doesn't the church say - "When your are kind to the poorest amoung you - your are kind to Jesus" yes they do- but in America we don't mean it - it's just a sentimental sounding thing to say -

We don't seem to have much of a heart lately - the US is sounding like a bunch of spoiled schoolchildren -

the solution - turn it around, make it work, register these people in a fair trade work program - stabilize the situation, tighten up on immigration in the same process-

Homeland security et al ...?
My God - America's leaders need to learn how to run things

Will you ever shut up about "illegal aliens." It's obvious you don't like them, but at least they are not the ones fighting with every country in the world because they have weapons of mass destruction. Get over your hate and dedicate yourself to something better. A good thing would be to get a better job you know, so maybe you will help the economy of this country since is so bad!

I think illegal immigration's an issue of deliberate negligence x20 years....and there's no way to turn back the clock...but, the answer going forward is to have better enforcement, and good immigration treaties etc.

We live in a changed world from 100 years ago, in those times, the world's population was 1/6th of what it is today...

they pay into the economy like everyone else, same bills as everyone else. same daily taxes as everyone else.

they dont lower education. theres finally a spanish class at the local school. our kids learn spanish from their kids making them more flexible internationally.

they form their own communities to keep away from our criminals & vengeful idiots. most are too careful of deportation to risk crime.

hospitals, shouldnt have socialism anyway.

diseases, we can cure it. drugs, yes please, thanx. 'slave labor'? its cheaper to hire immigrants at $9/hr than it is to pay a local $6/hr +taxes,health,... . now, whos the slave?

this coutry 'was' based on free enterprise, commerce between all & competition. if we cant out perform these 'lower' people then perhapse we should check ourselves rather than get our mommy government to go after immigrants. we are the usa, remember, 'the melting pot'? assimulation of other cultures is our thang.

immigrants offer the same things theyve always offered. y'know, hitler wanted 'purity' too. i see a trend.

illegal aliens dont pay taxes... which in turn dont pay for state and federal employees. so when they do jobs under the table the government loses out, jobs that tax payers can hold
