Sweetie - killing yourself doesn't solve any of your problems. You can't run away either because you obviously aren't old enough to take care of yourself. I don't know to what extent the abuse is but regardless you should talk to your school counselor. She will tell you how far to take the reporting. If you don't talk to her you need to talk to someone in your family that doesn't live with you. Do you have a grandmother or Aunt you could go stay with for a few days to see how that goes?

Wow ... those are the choices huh ... have you ever thought about talking to other people that might be able to help you ... like other family members or a teacher or another friend ... my parents were horrible growing up - drugs & alcohol took over both of them so I had to grow up fast ... killing yourself or running away won't solve anything ... !
If they're abusing you - tell somebody ... if it's really not that bad ... try using them as a life tool ... when you get older - don't do things the way your parents did .. show them no matter how bad they are - you're still capable of doing anything you want - I got straight A's and played every sport I could think of just to stay busy and away from the house ... learn from their mistakes ... and remember - you make you're own decisions and you're the only one who can control your emotions ... don't give them that power too ... they don't deserve it ... one thing my parents couldn't control - how good of a person I turned out to be ... with everything they showed us I should be in jail or dead by now ... !

you need to report them. running away or killing yourself is the worst thing you could ever think of doing. you may find that reporting them will land you in a foster home but that will be better then getting hit all the time. if you can, see if there is a close relative that can take care of you. even though you dont know the people who are answering these questions trust me we all love you and want to help. do you have a kids help line were you are? if you are not sure check your local phone book there may be a number in it that can help. PLEASE DONT DO ANYTHING TO HURT YOURSELF.

No you do not need to do any of that. What you can do is tell a counselor in your school or a teacher that you trust or family member that you trust or sees the abuse. But killing yourself and running away isnt the answer.

because of this great country that we live in hitting people is now illegal. why would you ask a stupid question like that? there are a billion thing you can do about this situation I think its the one thing that movies seem to concentrate pretty good on just call the police talk to a teacher anybody in authority dont kill yourself though thats just stupid.

It's NEVER a "good idea" to kill yourself!! Talk to a teacher or a family member. Or go to the police.

You need to get off "Yahoo Answers" messing around and ask someone local like a teacher, family member you can trust or go to your counselor at school. Trust me, if you feel your being abused you need to get help now.

Please don't hurt yourself or run away. Find someone that you can trust, priest, counselor, teacher or maybe a close friend's mom. They can help.
Your parents need help. What they are doing is wrong and you don't need to be treated that way. This is something that needs to be done NOW!!!
