I have been in school for a long time and not one guy has taken an interest in me. What should I do?

Wait so ur saying that ur chubby and can't get a date?

Well it's like this.

Physical appearances, although everyone hates hearing it, DOES MATTER when it comes to being attracted to someone.

Reason? Because men are not psychic and can't tell what you are inside just by looking at you. So we go for the biological programming instead and go for fitness (that mentally we see as strength and health) and physical beauty.

Ok, I'm ready to get boo-ed and flamed for telling the truth.

Ask someone out. Guys are just as shy as girls are. Also how chubby are you? If you just have a little bit I'm sure no guy will mind. Also, if you have a little bit more than a little bit you could start excersizing or join a sport or club. There are a lot of reasons guys act stupid around girls. Your time will come. Just be yourself and if you like someone swallow your pride and ask him out. If he says no, oh well there are many more. Also a lot of chubby girls in highschool end up losing their "babyfat" in their senior year or after they graduate. Then everyone is jealous later when they are all the chubby ones and you are thin. Just keep your head up and maybe not focus so hard on guys. Hang out with your friends and find out who you are first.

Guys, especially, young guys aren't usually into the chubby girls because they're afraid of being picked on and teased by their friends. Guys prefer a girl they can show off. It's just the way it is when you're young. The good news is once you get older, guys don't spend so much time trying to impress their friends and are more open to dating someone to their own tastes and not to the tastes of their friends. Trust me there are probably guys at your school who look at you and think "She's cute", but they would never ask you out because you don't fit the ideal of what their friends would think is hot. Your turn will come later, be patient.

It is a materialistic world out there. A lot of people are closed minded and don't know that beauty comes from within. There is someone for everyone and you will find someone.
Tips.
1. Always be confident, Men like confident women.
2. Dress to make yourself feel good.
3. Don't give off vibes that you do like your appearance. Men/Boy can sense that. Confidence.
4. Don't seem desperate.
5. Maybe try to loose a couple of pounds. It will make you feel good. Real good.

curiously hs boys are not what you decide on. If all they'd see is your physique and not the genuine then you definately they only are not that mature even with each and every thing. i'm staring at #2 + #3 on your question, seems to me they're greater in contact approximately what their friends think of. i've got in no way genuinely thought some lady's physique as i've got been with the two skinny and thick, yet i've got in no way been with a *****. And sure i'm a guy, 44yo, been around

hit the gym, lose maybe 20-25 lbs, and flirt with guys...

honestly c'mon men are really superficial like that, theres no way that you cannot realize that hot skinny women get more men on them than chubby shy girls.... its human nature.....

it definitely is wrong, but unfortunately it will not change. You can however make it change if you wish by changing the way you look.

they guys might like you, but are too shy to say so. no one wants to be the only one liking the "fat girl". it's just how society is. even though most people now seem to be overweight, it's still a horrible stigma to be overweight. don't feel bad, in college people are more accepting and don't care as MUCH what others are saying. high school is very peer pressure oriented.

Tell them to **** off. ;-) No, not really... Go to other schools? Meet some new people? You'll find someone, I promise! Being chubby is just another stereotype.

You need to act confident. Noone wants to go out with someone who acts like she isn't sure of herself. I had a 'chubby' friend in HS and she had lots of BFs!
