It's soooo easy! Buy 2 cans of condensed milk. Pierce the tops and place them in a pan of boiling/simmering water. Leave for an hour, making sure the water doesn't boil away. During this time, prepare your biscuit base. After an hour, take the cans out of the water and open them - be careful, they'll be seriously hot and sticky...
When you open them, you'll see that the milk has caramelised. Give them a good stir and pour the contents onto your biscuit base. Cover with chopped bananas and then whipped cream and grated chocolate.
Yummy!!!

Banoffee Pie 275 g butter 250 g ginger biscuits (or digestive, butter etc) 150 g caster sugar 400 g sweetened condensed milk 5 bananas 500 ml double cream chocolate (for grating) 1. Crush the gingernut biscuits so they resemble breadcrumbs. 2. Melt 4oz of the butter and mix with the biscuits. 3. Press mixture into a dish about 28cm diameter and about 6-7 centimetres deep. 4. Chill. 5. Place remaining butter and sugar in a non stick saucepan and melt. 6. Add the condensed milk and gently bring to the boil stirring continously so mixture does not burn. 7. Boil for 5 minutes exactly to make a light caramel. 8. or Place remaining butter, sugar and condensed milk in a large glass bowl and microwave 2-3 minutes , stirring occassionally. 9. It should change colour to a light caramel. 10. Dont over do it as it will make the toffee too hard. 11. Allow to cool slightly and then pour over biscuit base. 12. Chill. 13. Slice the bananas over the caramel. 14. Beat the cream until stiff and cover bananas. 15. Top with grated chocolate Be warned this is very sweet.

Carnation sell the toffee in a tin. It should be with the condensed milk in the supermarket. Make a digestive biscuit crust with crushed biscuits and melted butter. Put in fridge or freezer to get really cold.Melt a bar of good dark chocolate and paint over the crust. Slice bananas over the chocolate and spread over the toffee. Top that with whipped double cream, Grate chocolate over that. Divine!

I'm a pastry chef at gatwick, what we do to save time with the condensed milk is to open the tin empty it out and boil the milk until it caramelised we then put it on a biscuit base,be care full not to burn it,keep it stirring until milk turns brown.should take about 20 Min's.
when your pie is cool top with Chantilly cream ,bananas, toasted almonds and melted chocolate
enjoy!

the best recipe for this is to boil a large can of condensed milk(unopened)for about 1 and a half hours topping up water occasionally. let can cool for about 20 mins before opening then pour into a ready made shortcrust pastry base. layer with banana and top with cream.

Try this one - http://recipes.epicurean.com/recipe/19279/banoffee-pie.html
But for future reference try typing "recipes" (note the plural) into Google and you get access to more recipes than you are ever likely to have hot dinners. Or cold desserts for that matter.
