It looks so cool, and I want to know the best way to get your opponent suckered into it, and then how to pull it off like a champion.

You don't have to have someone in your guard to do a triangle, you can set it up from side control, mount, 1/2 guard or even get something called reverse triangle
if you want to see it in a book get any of the Jean jacques machados books, really good pics and walks you through each step

Bryan B has it down. It's basically that. The only thing that I would add is while your opponent is in your guard (half-guard), place your feet on his hips right at the time you want to hip out. Before you attempt the hip out, make sure you have his opposite hand across your midline. Grab that hand and pull it across so that he almost falls on your chest. Throw your triangle (BE QUICK). You MUST lock that leg across the back of his neck for this move to be effective. Otherwise you're just playing around. If he doesn't tap, pull the top of his head down. Instant blackout in 3 seconds.

Also, I'll say it, too. Do this at your own risk and your partner's risk. This move will cut off circulation to the brain. That's how you black out!!! I'm serious. Don't f--- around.

when caught in a guillotine u need to wok to be across your opponents body. so say it starts standing u shoot in (inappropriately) and get caught. immediately grab for the wrists of ur opponent and keep stepping forward make them fall back. and when they fall and try and pull guard u need to stay out of their guard away from the choke. so if he is choking you under his right arm you want to pass to his left so your hips on the left side of his body. if you manage that then you create enough space using his body to turn your head out of the choke and bang your in side control. the Triangle as far as i know your doing the best thing you can push forward making them curl up on top of their head and try and get it to break.if your create enough space force your other arm in there to create space but triangle escapes once they are locked in are extremely hard because its his legs will lock up tight and as your fighting your also losing all the oxygen to ur brain so its just a losing battle.

When ur opponent got a top mount on you, quicky pull ur legs over his head(position his head and 1 arm between your legs). *this step is important- lock ur legs together{whichever arm of ur opponent is beigning locked, ur opposite leg should be connect by the other. Now just pull his head over his arm. KILLER TECHNIQUE

I question one of the above answers.

Key point.
1st The opponent must be in your Guard (if you don't know what this means, stop reading)
2nd Next move your hips upward so that just the head and two arms are inside (legs are under arm pits)
3rd put one of your hips on the ground (on side- it's called hipping out) and then throw one leg over on top of one of you opponents shoulders (One under and one over with the head in the middle).
4th While one leg is straight on top of the opps shoulder, your other leg needs to bend in back of the opps neck and tuck your foot under your own Knee (often needs to be pulled down with your hands)
5th Next, while locking the legs, pull the head down. The arm caught inside should be pushed to the opposite side

That's about it. Hope I'm not missing anything here. Practice at your own risk. This move cuts off the blood circulation on the artery of the neck.

Don't you think if someone is going to give the answer a thumbs down that they would have the guts to post an answer that says Why? cowards, Step to the plate.

When your opponent is attempting a four-point pin, it is fairly simple to get your leg around his neck. Position your quad directly above the throat and knock your opponent over; then, squeeze your quadricept and calf to limit his air flow.

When you are in the postion where their head is in your legs. Put your hand above the nape of the neck and arch you hips.
When i do it i push there face in to my stomach so they tap faster.
