Paranoia can be the result of smoking weed, freaky fundamentalist religious beliefs (the sky is falling, the devil is out to get me!), or it may be a mental illness. Personality disorders can cause paranoia as well as schizophrenia. Look up the disorders on the net and see if either describes what is happening to you. If so, see a doctor.

paranoia is a form of psychosis......just like a medical condition, mentall illness comes in degrees of serverity.

if you are paranoid a good bit of the time....you are more than likely suffering from a mental illness already..... you need to talk to a psychiatrist about all your symptoms only he or she can make a proper diagnosis.....
