Well, I'm not completely sure on this...but I think all cats are what you described. I've heard Persian cats are a bit less playful and snooty, but again, don't quote me on that. Just love your cat and care for it, and it'll be great. ^_^

Every manecoon or part manecoon I have ever owned has been wonderful! I have met some extremely neurotic persians and siamese, but some people think neurotic cats have more personality.
Although the best thing to do is ask your parents to take you to a local animal shelter and pick one out that needs to be adopted. Be warned that the cute ones are not necessarily nice and the butt-ugly ones can be kind of cool.
Kittens are generally the most playful and energetic, but older cats are better behaved and there is always a surplus of them who badly need homes. Or at least there always was at the animal shelter I worked at.
Also, make sure your parents already have litter boxes, food etc. before adopting. Most (reputable) shelters don't allow their cats to go home with people who are not prepared.

All diverse sorts of breeds of cats may be stunning and pleasant! And anybody putting forward they by no potential met a valuable cat are both extremely unlucky or the cat might want to experience something undesirable about them ha ha! even as figuring out on out a kitten you want to be confident you get a healthful one. well-being can help a cats attitude plenty. also personality. in case you observe one not desiring to have interaction with you that isn't be the nature kind you're searching for. those that warmth as a lot as you immediately away or are playful are best perfect. I have by no potential met a cat that did not finally warmth as a lot as me. now and again cats are mean because they're afraid you may damage them. they could also not trust you. they could also be former or modern-day victims of abuse at their residing house. so that you want to be know-how of that. they could also play too problematical (I have one among those) and by twist of destiny chew too problematical. that is all contained in the tutorial with that. i trust that each and each and every cat has the flair to be valuable once you income that is trust and that is familiar with you mean no damage. you may income this with being calm, petting kitty purely even as it needs you to, providing treats and toys. Even talking to the cat in a relaxed voice can help. The cats I personal and that i all have bonding time. We play, brush, prepare them to do tricks with treats and they have grow to be the sweetest cats ever. It purely takes endurance and love.

I can tell you that my male orange tabby is the most laid back, mellow, "whatever" kind of cat. If you get him going he will play for hours. He even tolerates little kids "playing" with him. Very loving and adoring of his family. My vet told me if I wanted an all around good cat, for some reason, male orange tabbies are it
I also have a female torti...she thinks she runs the world, is VERY friendly, but wouldn't think twice about slicing your finger open.

You should go to a local shelter or adoption center. There you can interact with the cats and chose a favorite. It`s really cheap, they are normally spayed/neutered and up to date on shots, and you save a cat!!!

Honestly, it all depends on the cat. Why not go to the rescue center and pick one out that fits your needs? Just like you can't judge a person's personality by hair colour, you can't judge a cat's personality by fur colour. But personally, I love siamese mixes and black cats. : )

Any cat is cute and can be gentle if you treat gently. All my cats have been cuddly and loving from the time they were kittens, cause they trusted and loved me.
