Seriously. And if so, why?

BTW, I spent a lot of time getting mine to look like me. I'm quite proud of it - guess I could have made it more macho or something, but I thought my cyber self needed to be realistic.

I need to get a life - sometimes I change his clothes to match mine.

It just means that you're a sick twist like me that's into anime more than live action stuff (by 'sick twist,' that was total sarcasm). Nothing wrong with a little imagination, right? So long as you don't expect people to look like their avitars and get pissy when they in fact don't look like them...

I encourage my students to use their imagination just the same.

P.S. - From a psychological standpoint, art is usually drawn to perfection because we, as humans, sometimes desire to be perfect. And hell, when I see a gorgeous girl that looks like she stepped out out of a canvas, I got nuts. (I'm pretty sure any living, breathing male would.)

In short; it's a guy thing.

No more so than finding any cartoon character 'attractive'...odd perhaps, but I don't see why it would be "wrong"...as long as you realize that they're not real...
