Depends a lot on how much fluids you've ingested as well. Your body is designed in such a way that you never excrete anything more concentrated than seawater (about 0.9% salts), so you won't excrete much without also diluting it. If you've had a lot of salty foods, you'll need to drink plenty of water to help flush the salt out. If the salt gets absorbed into your cells, it can cause you to retain water, giving you that bloated, heavy feeling. Drinking plenty of water can draw the salts out as your body tries to maintain its osmolarity, and will eventually remove the excess salts. Impossible to say how long anything will take because it depends on how much excess salt you've consumed, how much you've had to drink, and how efficient your body is at processing what you eat and drink.

Sweating gets it out or vomiting and diarrhoea. if you lose it, drink lots of water. Drink it anyway to help excrete the salt.
