Not before your first year of highschool because the boys are too immature for you. Still, at that point, realize that it's unlikely you'll find a guy who is gonna stick with you forever. Commitment is not high in that range. If you want to go for fun, highschool is great. College is a better time if you're actually looking for commitment.

the chances are that the first boy friend or girl friend will be at about the age of 6 7 or 8
this is really a crush but you don't understand that at the time
but its there all the same
the real time to have b or g friend really is totally different to all of use
due to our upbringing and position in life there is no real age to say which is right or wrong
life is evolving and changing from generation to generation

i had my first boyfriend when i was 17, some of my classmates had it much earlier like 14 some of them left highschool without having a boyfriend. so it's all up to you and the guys around you. It's not about age, it's about a good guy.keep that in mind.

Most people say 16. I agree with that in some cases. Most of the time though, 18 is the way to go. When you're an adult, then you can really consider that person as your life companion, and not just play with peoples hearts.

the point of dating is to find a spouse, right? if you are not ready to get married, have babies, and so on, then i would not suggest "getting a boyfriend". I do however suggest that you have fun with a bunch of friends, go out in groups, movies, dinner, y'know. get to know yourself well enough before you start to settle down, this is a big mistake girls often make. it leads to pre-marital sex, and soooooo many other complicated situations. You are young have fun, who needs a boyfriend?? Now is not the right time.

when you and your parents agree it is time, but i think it depends on how mature you are, some girls that is 16 and for some that is 19 depends and dont feel preasured just to have a bf. wait till you find the right guy you like to hang out with.

Only you will know when you are ready to start dating, take it slow though, you have your whole life ahead of you. Focus on school so that when you are older you can make good career choices and live a better life. Good luck.
