I too am a Caucasian female with curly hair. I use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner everyday. Doesn't really matter the brand. I have tried all. The thicker the conditioner the better. Then I put frizz-ease hair serum on WET hair not damp. I let it air dry for a little bit then use a dryer with a defusser on it. Then I put a leave in conditioner on what frizzy parts come through (garnier) Good Luck. It took me years to perfect this.

You have to get to know your hair. Do you have coarse hair or fine hair? Is it treated in any way?
If you've got curls - DO NOT BRUSH THEM. Comb out the tangles while it's wet, then leave it be. The curls will cling together. This cuts down on the frizz.
I have curly hair and I went with Dreadlocks for a time. I loved my dreads. That's how I discovered Knotty Boy. KB products work great for my curly hair. It shines so much and curls so nicely.
The main site is in Canada, so shipping to the US can be costly. American Discount Beauty saves you shipping, but they don't have all the product line. Check the two links below.
I love the Dreadlock bar shampoo and Spray Conditioner. They work SO great! Please note that the bars are so wonderful, they last for a year. $9 for a year's worth of shampoo! I recommend getting the big bottle of spray conditioner so you can use it as a "refresher" at moments when you might need to go out and the curl needs a touch up.
I used to pick it up at Whole Foods but they quit carrying it. I actually just placed an order today for the new bar shampoos. I can't wait to try them.
Also, the sun can dry and damage your hair. Use a lot of hats and scarves. This will help with breakage.

Boy can I! lol I have natural curly hair and everyone told me I would NEVER be able to wear my hair straight but now it is straight and I get compliments on my hair all the time. Girls go to the salon and ask for their to be like mine. haha..... I had a straightener put on my hair. I shampoo & condition with salon products only Kenra, Biolage or Matrix are all good. But hears the secret... On towel dried hair I use Silk Therapy. Rub it thru the hair and blow dry then rub some thru hair after hair is dry. Works without fail.
