My mom is going to get my computer checked up. Just in case one of her friends she has doing the checkup tells her the sites I have visited, what am I to do? I've cleared the T.I.F. (Temporary Internet Files) and the cookies, alos the history. Is there anything else am I to get rid of? I hear some people talk about a "router". The router that I have is a Westell. It actually a wireless router. Does this hold any information? Thanks!

Sounds like you ahve biger problems.

Hiding things from your parents is a sign of larger issues. Perhaps you can take the honest road just tell her.

I have been in the IT industry for 30+ years, and unless you take drastic steps, your data can almost always be compromised, depending on who is doing the operation, and what tools they have available.

Perhaps it's time to be a man and face the consequences of your actions?

Just a thought...
