There is a long article in Wikipedia on Gog and Magog, starting like this: The tradition of Gog and Magog begins in the Bible with the reference to Magog, son of Japheth, in the Book of Genesis and continues in cryptic prophecies in the Book of Ezekiel, which are echoed in the Book of Revelation. The ambiguity of this tradition cannot be overstated. Even the nature of these entities differs greatly between sources. They are variously presented as men, supernatural beings (giants or demons), national groups, or lands. Gog and Magog appear in the Qur'an and occur widely in mythology and folklore
There are other sites with description on Gog and Magog, like THE LEGEND OF GOG AND MAGOG at http://www.iras.ucalgary.ca/~volk/sylvia/GogAndMagog.htm or What are Gog and Magog? at http://www.gotquestions.org/Gog-Magog.html

The Gog/Magog attack will occur twice, but both are BEFORE the end of the Millennium.
The first attack will happen any time now (before the Millennium begins); the second is described in Revelation 20:8 and takes place immediately before the END of the Millennium.
They are definately different invasions. For more information, please visit my Yahoo 360 blog.
Peace.
EDIT: "Angk," read Ezekiel 38 and 39, and Revelation 20:8.
"Mikhal," "gog" isn't America, it's the title of the Russian leader.

Are gogs and magogs actually in the Bible? I don't remember ever seeing them mentioned, but as someone who has played far too much Heroes of Might and Magic 3 this has me randomly excited for no apparent reason.
