Very good point. A lot of christians are too busy denying that they have issues they need to work on before they try and be a hero and 'save' mankind. I know I still have a lot of road ahead of me on my spiritual journey.

If I was especially impressed by the quality of people in some particular religous group I might be inclined to consider joining up with them. But, I am sure that whatever group True Soldiers of God belong can't be right.
IMHO

I think that Christians worry about the Atheists because they are supposed to testify....I'm not a Christian so don't worry, I'm not here to bash you. I just noticed that there are many Atheists knocking down the Christians..to each their own, we are lucky that we can believe in what we want without hanging for it (most of the time). Everyone wants to put everyone in one category, not all Christians will bash you,or try to save you, and so on...get it?

Its the christians, muslims, catholics, etc, that are causing a lot of the trouble in the world, so I think people are worried about taking the attention away from their own!

As a Christian, I care about your eternal soul.
I also believe that once a person accepts salvation thru Jesus, the Son of the one true God, they are "once saved, always saved".
Given this belief, it make sense that I care more about an unsaved soul than one that is saved.
And, please don't think it to be complaining about you. It's care and concern.

Ok, I will, and do... But that doesn't mean I'll stop praying for God to shine light into your soul and help you to see the right path. part of being Christian is to be charitable, and its charitable to pray for everyone... so in that respect we are practicing our faith and cleaning our own backyard by trying to help you (ie. we're trying not to be selfish and only pray for ourselves)... I won't complain about yours, if you'll stop assuming that all christians want to tell you how to live your life... hows that sound? :)

RB, it depends on your definition of "christians". If it's anyone that self-identifies as one, then I think you're wrong. I see too many that claim the name, but in my opinion (and as a former catholic) don't follow through in deed or word.

They seem to get some sort of self-validation if they can so much as get anyone to listen and not walk away when they start their spiel. As if they think that if they can convince someone else, it gives those ridiculous ideas any more believability.
