does it destroy the enviroment? and all the organisms?

CFCs cause ozone depletion.This allows more UV to reach the ground. Excessive UV can destroy plants. Causes cataracts in eyes and skin cancer. Not sure on the effects on lakes

Well, it increases radiation which isn't healthy for living things!

The ozone layer is, however, becoming more cured now that we stopped the serious flourocarbon released in the old forms of A/C and spray bottles.

It will, however, take a century or more to totally cure it.

Worry more about humans. Eye problems (blindness) and skin cancer are a direct result of the ozone depeletion.

There was no SPF 40 40 years ago!
