You could take a look at Alicia's House - www.aliciashousetrinidad.com

They're in St. Ann's, which is about 10 minutes drive from downtown POS. It's an excellent location really because it's less than ten minutes walk to the Queen's Park Savannah, but it's still relatively secluded and away from the hustle and bustle.

A couple other places off the top of my head are Monique's in Maraval - www.moniquestrinidad.com and Par May La's - www.parmaylas.com

These are really small inns, despite them all carrying the 'guesthouse' moniker. Don't know of any B&Bs off the top of my head.

Well, I lie - I know of one in Trincity. It's just a one-bedroom apartment, no AC though and it gets really hot during the day so I wouldn't recommend it. That and Trincity isn't really close to POS when you consider daytime traffic - it's about 30-40 minutes drive.

I don't know the prices offhand but should be in the US$60-70/night region.

Most reputable accommodations are registered with the local tourism company so you could also check them for recommendations - visittnt.com
