Being 14...wow I am glad I am past that age.
As far as the language, why not respect their opinion and in their presence not use those words. With your friends say what you want. They may be trying to teach you to broaden your vocabulary or to express yourself in an intelligable way.
Have you told them how you feel? Maybe if you talk with them without getting upset then maybe they will lighten up a bit and let you watch pg 13 movies and do some of the other things that you would like to do.

Wow, okay when i was living with my parents it was almost the same stuff. I had to watch my mouth and the dating thing was really strict, i was also forced to go to alot of youth church stuff
I am willing to bet that you are the first child. First children are useually the experimental ones, I was first child so it was really strict for me to. My parents were really religouse too.
So what i did is i sat down calmly, key word calmly. and explained to them that as i am getting older i would like some more privelages. But if u are calm and show that you can act like an adult and make some compromises they will listen i swear. But the dating thing is a norm, most people arent allowed to date till 16, But once you get to that age i doubt the 18 thing will still be in play cause that is what my parents said, but they let me work up to the one on one dating by at least 16.
Good luck and remember be nice and calm about it.

I would recommend that you get yourself emancipated, get a job, get your own place to live. After that pay your parents for all that they have provide for you, then cut off all financial support from anyone that has a vested interest in you. If that does not fit in your plan, then sit down with your parent and have a mature conversation with them about why you have these restrictions placed on you and also talk about changing some of them. During this intelligent mature conversation, explain to them in terms that they can understand, the importance and benefits of using the words "freakin" "sucks" and "as$". I am positive that if you can show them how important and relevant it is to society as a whole, they would be more supportive in your using such language.

It's tough because you want to express yourself but hold back. I never sweared and still don't (and I'm 35!) but just change your language when you're around your parents. It's not that difficult. If they see a change, they may lighten up with the movie restrictions. If you give a little, they might too. With your friends, talk however you want to. But you have to meet them in the middle to keep the peace. Also, the youth group is done after December so stick it out and live through it until then. No biggie. I wouldn't go back to my teenage years for anything! And I strict parents too. Take it easy, don't stress about the small stuff. It'll change in a few years.

Like you said you are 14 years old. If you were acting like that in my home believe me you wouldn't even have tv privaliges. The words you can't use are rude and crude and foul language. Maybe if you show a little more maturaty they will lighten up. You don't pay the bills and you don't put food on the table give your parents more respect.

You need to listen to your parents and pastor. You are only 14 and have a lot to learn in life, namely RESPECT. You are lucky you arent my child because i would be washing your mouth out with soap. Just calm yourself and do as your parents tell you because they love you and know what is good for you. In order for them to give you more space you need to show them you are worthy of it and this is a fine example that you have a long way to go

good lord child be patient you have a long life a head of you and if you get so upset that you can not say some stupid words what will you do when you grow up and still can not do all the things you thought you would, life is easy if you fight for what is important and let the rest just pass you by.

you need to respect your parents and thier home, when you turn 18 AND are out of thier house and paying your own bills, then you can speak any way you wish.
