because certain people can be shallow and say any old thing, just to see what reaction they get from the owner!

I read about a researching about dogs and their owners. It showed that ppl are usually buy dogs who have the similar attributes. The researchers says it is caused by an urge.
We search our partners who are similar to us. We choose pets the same way.

Some pet owners choose pets that have specific features they favor...now for example...I wanted a cat with the biggest eyes...awww.
and sometimes the cuteness just can't be contained and the love the owner has for the animal just seems to speak volumes in both their faces...attached is a link on this subject.

Dog owners would groom themselfs to how they like to look (Curly hair for example). As that would be their taste they would do the same to their dog. It goes beyond hair.

usually becoz the owner chooses a dog like them...think about it wood you choose a dainty poodle if u wer a hard-core rugby star etc

haven't you ever seen the cholesterol add on tv? they show some examples of how people look like their dogs...but for the most part, its not true

Beacuse in some instances the very much do look alike, facial shape, noses, eyes, etc.

i think it is because the dog and the human spend so much time together that they end up having simular manurisms. mello people have mello dogs, excitable people have excitable dogs, etc.
