I noticed the blisters when I was checking his toe nails.
Why didn't he cry or limp when he first did it? Cat's paws have to be sensitive?
He's healing up very well no infection and doesn't flinch when I put the ointment on them.

That happened to me last year and my kitty didn't cry out or limp either. Cat's don't tend to show their pain as much as humans. Fortunately I was there when it happened and there was snow outside so I put her feet into the snow immediately. She had some blisters too but they healed well. You could do what we've done, put a cinder block on the top of the stove. The heat will not conduct as strongly through the block and there is less of a chance of 2nd or 3rd degree burns. So far it's worked well.
Good luck!

Either it didn't hurt him or he did cry but no one heard it, if he didn't flinch when you first started putting stuff on them it must not be as painful as it looks.
