yes, don't feed dogs any meats, ham, chicken, turkey, steak....They should only get dog food period. Even if they don't respond with diarrhea now when they get older it will and they can get very sick and even die from irritable bowel syndrome.

The way I decide which food is good or bad is this: If my dog were running wild, what would be his food choice? Probably not canned dog food. Probably that chicken running around where his bones haven't been cooked to be splinter soft. My dog eats dry food supplemented by cooked ground beef or turkey, along with selected cooked vegetables.....it's high nutrition, not dog food additives.

No, turkey is not bad for dogs. In fact, chicken and turkey are good for animals when the are not feeling well or as something light for them to eat after surgery, usually put with rice in these cases.

No it isn't that turkey is bad for dogs it's the bones from the turkey ! Because the bones splinter and can stick in the throat or tear the stomach.

Basically, any type of human food isn't really all that good for dogs (although the dogs love it!) but people still feed their dogs people food anyways, as long as you don't feed him a whole lot, and you keep the boes away form him, then yes, it's perfectly fine, just make sure you watch the dog, because i frined of mine's dog was eating people food, and he took too big a piece, and it got stuck in his throat, thank goodness hes ok, but just be wary of your dog when its eating people food!
Hope this helps!

Unlike chicken bones, which splinter and are bad for dogs, turkey drumsticks are actually tough enough to take some gnawing. As for the meat, it's absolutely good for them, but the tryptophan may make them want to take a nap with the football game on TV . . . . . . . no, wait, that's me!
