Advantages; fresh air, nice living conditions, friendly people for the most part, lower taxes.

Disadvantages; distant from good health care facilities; can make you more vulnerable to being robbed; schools may not be as good.

Well, that depends on how "country" you mean. I live in a small, rural area that myself and many others classify as "country".

On the plus side, I have 5 acres of land and I don't have any neighbors that I can see from my house. I LOVE that. :) Contrary to popular belief, the country does have shopping areas. We have a downtown area with locally owned family businesses, and we have a small mall that includes a JC Penney, Sears, Bon Ton, Kmart, and an Old Navy, among others.

On the down side, it is harder to find a job, and when you do, chances are you won't love it. Also, there aren't as many services as you have in the city. I have my own private well for water, which isn't terrible unless it hasn't rained in a while. Also, we don't have city garbage pick up. We still have garbage pick up, but it's through Waste Management. In order to use WM, you must buy their WM branded garbage bags. They are a little smaller than most garbage bags, and they cost between $10-18 per five depending on which township you live in.

Again, on the plus side..it is quiet, there is a lot of gorgeous countryside and natural wildlife, and a very low crime rate. And we do have a few bars and one semi-"club" scene, and lots of good restaurants. They're all in pretty much the same area, but that's ok by me. Also, I happen to live about 15 minutes from a really great hospital, and there are great school systems, too.

Hope this helps!

Advantages-cleaner air, beautiful views, slower paced, quieter.
Disadvantages: Slower, may not have same accesses as the city, less opportunity to act on an impulse after 10pm.

Personally if given the opportunity I'd live in the country-my Grandparents had a ranch and boy do I miss it-even with the work it was better most days than city living.

Oh the open spaces are wonderful, the clean air, the cheep housing cost, the disadvantages are no jobs, commuting to a urban area to work, gas prices, few shopping choices, but the advantages in my opinion out weight the disadvantages

In country side you can live like real animal, villager know everybody and get help from neighbors like from family. People are for each others but is boring life, not too much entrainment.
Every little accident become history. You have a lot of fresh air and more healthy food. Life is very peaceful and safe.
City - nobody cares, but you have more places to go and spend money, get job - totally different opportunity for relationship too.
More lies, players no mercy.
