They will be fine. Just don't do it over and over again. It was an accident and as long as it isn't done all of the time the child will be fine. 2 mls(ccs) is not an issue. Now if you gave 5mls(ccs)=1 tsp that might be something to be a little concerned about.

From the way you proposed your question it doesn't sound like the dosage was much and shouldn't be a problem. However, to be certain, I advise you call a pharmacist. You can call any local drug store like CVS, Walgreens, ect and ask to speak with their Pharmacist. Have the med handy to answer their questions.
