Well, it depends if you're watching TV and the Color adjustment bar pops up and increases....if that's what happens then your remote OR the front panel buttons have sticking buttons....stuff that remote in a drawer if/when it happens.....if it stops it's the remote, if it doesn't....press any and ALL the front panel buttons and see it any are stuck.

Now if you're watching TV and there is no display when the color increases, then you have a temperature sensitive component INSIDE the TV that will require the expertise of a TV tech.....call an authorized service center that services your brand. These guys have excellent access to the manufacturers and can fix it better IMO.....

Some TV sets have an "auto color" setting in the basic set-up menu. Check if you have this setting and turn it on. Sometimes these basic settings are lost during a power outage.

You have to look at you manual of your tv, maybe something's wrong with your basic configuration. Otherwise your tv is broken. I experienced a similar situation with my tv, and i had to buy a new one. If your tv isn't that old, maybe you still have a guarantee.

\sounds like the tube is on its way out - it needs replacing or a new t.v. You may like to hint to a loved one that it would be a good christmas pressie.

many years ago when i serviced them it would probably have been the chroma chip.when it was playing up we used freezer,if it stopped that component was faulty.

Try adjusting the color. Buy a new one if it doesn't hold.
