Anytime you feel like it would be appropriate , no need for a self induced mourning period after a breakup . Go out and have fun and enjoy life so you can move on to better things .

As soon as another lady shows interest in you, then you'll probably break up with her after a year and couple months, then you just look for the next and the next and the next, until you bold enough to know what you want and go for it.

Start dating when you feel like you won't dump the new girl should the old girl come back to you. That is the test as to whether or not your heart is ready. Your mind may be, but wait for your heart.

Get out there right away, why spend time whining and cowering in a corner. Life goes on.
Like they say if you fall off a horse you have to get right back in the saddle.
You will only get over the break up when you have someone else to care about.

Now is the perfect time. You say you broke up with her, start looking and you may find that you would rather go back to what you had before.

It's appropriate when you feel ready to see others...and when you won't be dragging baggage from your previous relationship with you...if you feel you're over your ex and ready to move on, then do so...
There is no particular minimum time...it's a very individual thing...

If you are feeling attracted to someone else, then the time is right. Good luck, I hope the next one is a keeper.
