Who told you it's a bad habit? He will love you for it - nothing says "I love you" more than the woman you love relaxing and trusting you so much, that she farts on your leg with confidence. Go for it girl - the first woman who farted in my bed I married!!

Yep, I know a women with the same problem. While an occasional fart might be amusing at times, what you describe sounds beyond normal and after the novelty wears off, it gets old fast and becomes a turn-off. The female in question would cut loose prize winners all evening. She'd leaves them locked in the car, just lingering. She lets silent ones go while shopping. Once at a grocery store checkout counter, the smell was so bad that the clerk walked away for a minute for some fresh air. Her farts are heavy and often cling and follow her to the next room and like you, she cuts farts in her sleep. At times, the bedroom became permeated with the stench and I would just stay on the couch.

Beyond the normal passing of gas, nobody wants to be with and sleeping next to a never-ending fart bomb, which blows off nasty steam throughout the day and night. While this may simply be natural for you, it eventually becomes disgusting and revolting. I couldn't help but start to see her as a pig.

Try changing your eating habits. Some foods produce more gas and use Beano.

My BEST friend did something like that, when her and her boyfriend first got together, she spent the night, ( he had bunkbeds at this point, boys never grow up, lol) ]
And they were on the bottom, he left the room, and she let one out, only to find his cousin was on the top bed....

That was five years ago, we all joke about it, but they are still together. If would guess he probably thinks it's funny, but gloats about how his girl isn't like the Priss b*tches.
You know how guys always joke about how girls are too afraid to spit and burp and fart, well I bet he's happy that you can rip one with the boys.

On the advice, could it be thatmaybe you get the slightest bit nervouse, so your stomoch cramps? Try,before you go to bed, to do some breathing exersises. and calm your nerves. Maybe ask him if he will give you a massage.
Good Luck.
And it happens to the best of us.

It may be a diet issue. Are you a vegetarian? I f so may be your eating too many pulses ( beans etc) Or your too stressed , don;t get me wrong being excited in a good way may be interpreted as stress. If your body is reacting to percieved stress then your digestive system may be shutting down and the food in your digestive tract is fermenting and producing gas. If that is the case then the key is to relax. Thats easier said than done. Perhaps the best way to go is in the contrary direction, have a meal with your boyfriend of Onions backed beans and other gaseous producing foods. Then fart away deliberately, the aim is to habituate yourself to the situation may break any subconscious stress and the problem will go away.

Don't eat gassy foods before bed if you don't want to "rip through the sheets" making for a toasty evening.

Don't be too embarassed. -Everybody farts.-
But if he teases too much he's just being an @$$ or wants to get a rise out of you.

You never know, maybe you may be "lucky" and have someone who has a bit of a "toot"fettish *chuckles*.

Again, there's little one can do about gassious explosions save for watching and altering diet. Some foods make one more airy than others.

Okay, now pay attention...it's not what your eating just before bed. Watch your diet 1-2 days prior avoiding foods like certain fresh veggies (cauliflower, cucumbers, lettuce), beans and chili, fast food especially burgers and onion rings. You can google a list of foods that create gas. Eat healthy, but avoid the known foods that create excess gas. If you sit alot or drive alot then kick up your activity and keep things moving. Now, about the embarrassment......don't make more of it that it is. If it smells, well that's a lingering thing that might be embarrassing but if you avoid the gassy foods, especially onions and beans, then you should be okay. I would get on web MD and research what foods to avoid. Remember, all good things must come to pass...okay, that was a bad joke.... props to u for asking, it's a common thing

Change of scene change of food or the way its prepared. Does he do the cooking and maybe using too much bi-carb in the veg ?
or simply different water supply. Just have to find out by process of elimination, although a certain amount of flatulence is perfectly normal. Maybe by holding small ones in check your body will release them all when you are asleep and relaxed.

1) Take a Zantac before you go to bed.

2) Don't worry about it, it happens to everybody. If he's making jokes, he's ok.

3) If it happens mainly when you're with him and not all the other time, look into why you're so nervous or unsettled around him.

Maybe you should look at your diet. Certain things cause this problem more than others. You could take something like Bean-o before you eat something that causes gas or maybe you could take something afterwards to cut down on the gas.
