Avoiding the truth, it's more convient to believe that you can do what ever you want with no reprocussions.

Hell is a logical impossibility under the YHVH deity.

Humans are mortal and finite. We can take only a certain number of actions in our life, even if this number is very large. Each of our actions can only have finite effects, even if each effect is potentially large.

Therefore, a human can only create a finite amount of harm to the world, and a finite amount of error.

The assertion of Hell is that an All Loving, All Just, All Merciful God will send people to Hell for their errors, for all eternity (an infinite time).

This is infinite punishment for finite crime. This is not loving, just, or merciful. This is a contradiction.

Therefore, the assumption of Hell must be false given an All Loving, All Just, and All Merciful God.

Did you also know that Hell is a Christian and Muslim concept, but *NOT* a Jewish concept? Satan is not the enemy, according to Jews, though he is the Adversary. The difference is this: In order to improve my spiritual skills and muscles, I must have a counter. Consider a martial artist; his skills cannot improve if he never has a sparring partner. His sparring partner is his opponent, but is also a loyal companion if not a friend, not an enemy. If the sparring partner seriously harmed the martial artist, the partner would back away and let a medic help you. To call satan the enemy is to place him as God's equal, because enemies must be equal, otherwise, there's no actual contest.

Becausde it doesn't make sense to me that there is a special spot for people who don't do the man in the sky's bidding.

My Gods don't care who you have sex with, worship or how you dress, what kind of music you listen to,. books you read, etc. As long as you are not knowingly hurting other living things.

And if you do hurt others, we have Karmic reaction. Whatever you send out you get back, times three,

Hi ♥sunflower♥. Some people do not belive that Hell exists because they are rejecting the God of the Bible. The do not want Judgment and only want to believe the parts of the Bible that they like. They want to think of God as a kind, Grandfatherly neighbor who only wants them to be happy, The Bible does not teach this. In the Old Testament in Deuteronomy 32:22 God warns us:

"For a fire is kindled in My anger, And shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase,
And set on fire the foundations of the mountains."

When God speaks of fire here, he is speaking of his Judgment which He will reign on wicked, the unsaved. God tells us what will happen to the wicked in
Psalm 9:16-17:

"The LORD is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. 17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God."

What will Hell be like? God gives us some examples in the New Testament. God tells us about the fire in hell in Matthew 18-9:

"And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire."

God tells us there shall be Judgment at the end of age. In Matthew 13:49-51 we read:

"So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” 51 Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

The unsaved do not want Judgment. They rely on a sentence here and a sentence there in the Bible and say "Look there is no Hell!" But the truth is they will stand before God for Judgment on the final day and without a Savior, without the Lamb of God they will burn in Hell. The Lamb is Jesus Christ.

If someone is doubting, try praying the sinners prayer, "Lord have mercy on me, for I am a sinner."

Hell as a fiery land of torment isn't a Biblical concept--It's pagan. The Bible speaks of the grave, seperation from YHWH in death.

Everyone is given an opportunity to receive God's forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ. I believe that some people deny that there is a hell because they choose to believe that people and themselves can continue to please the "flesh"/live for the world. They don't want to imagine that there is a horrific place like hell where they could end up. It's a part of making the WORD of God convenient for themselves.

There is an underworld, but it's not Hell. Hel is the name of the Norse goddess of the underworld; it was stolen by Christian conquerors who invaded Scandinavia. They then took the Norse underworld and twisted it around to create "Hell."
