The expression "born again" comes from when Jesus was talking to Nicodemus. Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again" (John 3:3). Nicodemus asked how a man can be physically born again and Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water, and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit" (John 3:5-6)
Jesus is saying that we have a physical birth (born of water) but that we also must have a spiritual birth (born of the Spirit). He leads to a discussion of how God sent Jesus to die for the sins of the world.
Nicodemus was a religious man, yet Jesus clearly said his religion wasn't enough to save him. During the 70's the term "born again" was adopted by Christians who wanted to say that they had a living faith based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and salvation through his blood sacrifice and not a faith based simply on religious traditions and practices.
There are "born again" Christians in all denominations of Christianity. They have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior and they seek to follow in the ways of Jesus. There in no one "born again" church or group.

Great questions!
To be "Born Again" is to be born again of the spirit. This can only be done by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior. The gift of salvation is free.
Being a "good" person will not get us into Heaven. Doing good deeds for some or many people will not earn us salvation, either. It is a gift from the living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
We believe (I think John 3:16-17 says it best)
John 3:16-17:
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
We believe that Jesus came to fulfill prophesy of the Old Testament. We live under grace.
As for finding a Church, I would suggest finding a Spirit filled, Holy Bible believing and teaching Church. One that urges a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Have you been born again?
The "new birth" is not a religion, not living up to a creed, not a set of rituals, nor joining a church or denomination. It's a transformation. Our old nature is changed and we receive a new one. Old things pass away and all things become new in Christ. We receive a new heart, new desires, new ideas, and a new direction because of this new nature. A birth is the coming into being of a new life which has the nature of its parents. When you were born the first time, you were made a partaker of the nature of natural man. When you are born again, you become a partaker of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4). God can become your heavenly Father.

"Born Again Christian".
Another deep-rooted, misunderstood concept.
In fact "born-again christian" is actually a redundant term! Use of this term, shows a lack of fundamendal understanding of the gospel. Misguided understanding atleast.
If you are a christian, you ARE "born again". Likewise, if you are "born again", you ARE a christian.
In other words, to become a christian, you must be born again; if you are "born again", you have become a christian.
Amazing as it may seem, this concept confuses MANY, MANY people. Or should I say; many, many people have been confused by those that have taught and teach some "born again, spirit-filled" doctrine.
There is much to speak of and teach on this subject. But time does not permit.

To be born again means that we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, trusted that when He died on the cross He was dying for our individual sins, (there's a Hymn I really love it's called "When He was on the Cross, I was on His mind". Jesus Himself said, "Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God....."
We have a saying based on the Bible, that if you're only born once, you die twice, but if you're born twice, you only have to die once.
This comes from Revelation 20:11-15 which talks about the great white throne judgment which is the judgment of the damned......in verse 14 it says...."this is the second death" I attend a Bible believing Baptist church....but it's more important to be born again than to be a baptist!

I really believe that a Born Again Christians are Christians that stopped following the word. I consider myself a Born Again Christian. I was saved when I was younger and as I got older, I stopped going to church, reading my bible, doing my daily devotions, etc. I still believed in God, but I didn't necessarily follow all of his rules.
As I got older and had children, I wanted them to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior, so my husband and I started attending church again and now, I wouldn't miss a service. I think that when you are born again, you have the fire in you for Jesus again.

The Bible says we must be born again to see the kingdom of God (see the Bible's book according to John, 3:3 (chapter 3, verse 3)). Being born again means entering into a new spiritual life through God's Holy Spirit.

To be Born Again or as the original Greek defines it as Born from above or Born of God means you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and asked God to forgive you of your sins and you are willing to repent of your sins. This opens up a personal relationship with God and you are now spiritually alive and not dead. Understand that spiritually speaking when a person is dead they are separated from God and are headed into eternity without hope. The good news is God gives you the choice.
AS for a Official Born again church is one who believes God sent God the Word (who became The son of God) to die and be the redeemer of all who would receive His as Lord.

'Born Again' Christians typically belong to one of the Baptist denominations and the term isn't really used in the other ones. Being born again doesn't necessarily mean you left the church and came back to follow Christ's teachings. It's more of a rite of passage for adults in the Baptist church to commit themselves to Jesus.

Jesus said you must be born again of the water and of the Spirit. One of His disciples summed that up by telling us exactly how He wants us to be born-again (see Acts 2:38).
I attend a United Pentecostal Church. Although there could be others- I think we consider ourselves born-again.
