Ugh, honey I'm mixed too but that doesn't make us any better in any aspects than other races. Black hair is beautiful and thick not "nappy" and i will bet my *** that you have gotten your hair flat ironed to look more like white girls' "oily" hair. Get off your high horse.

Its just these kind of ignorant comments that gives mixed girls a bad rap. I'm a mixed girl. I got hit on a lot in high school by black guys and when rejected, they got offended and very offensive -- assuming I turned them down because I was just another racist, stuck up light skinned b****. I loved black guys, but wasn't ready to date. Actually I can't blame them entirely, as most of the mixed girls in that small town I met did have insecurity issues and were... kind of stuck up. You seem like one of them. You think you're the best of both worlds? FYI I've seen a lot of ugly mixed combinations, and a lot of those girls think they're so cute and light that they don't have to bother to comb that nappy "mulatto" hair (Even if some black girls have thick, course hair at least they DO something with it - like all ethnicities). Please, get a life instead of fishing for compliments online.

Be proud now because you might regret your question in 20 years time. Others might have bad skin and hair now and be the sexiest women and men in the future. Think about this...how would you feel if, in the future, THEY will be the ones to ask you this question? "I'm a black/white girl. How come i have the best hair and skin and the mixed have oily and nappy hair/skin?

Not trying to be funny, but I know some African Americans with a good grade of hair.
I now some mixed people with a messed up grade of hair and can be just as nappy as the next.
Not all caucasian people hair is oily.
Just because you are mixed does not mean your hair can't get oily or nappy etc. (You just take cake or you hair)
So my question to you is:
Why do people like you ask stupid questions to show how ignorant you are?
You being mixed has you so confused with who you are which is human.

Wow. I am also a mix and my hair too is great. I, however, do not see any difference in the growth or thickness or grooming of both the Africans and Amercians/Europeans. I dont know what gave you the idea that we have the best hair amid all. That is utter rubbish. How could you have come even close to such a conclusion?

i am mixed but i have dark skin for being at the beach but back on topic when i cut my hair mixed people have different hair texture. my cousin holly and destiny for example they both have curly thick hair and they r white indian and black that is what my mom side of the family is like so you are wrong

I have a mixed child and I swear if he ever acts like this I will disown him. You are a disgrace. Instead of being an example of how races can live in harmony with each other and produce beautiful children, you seem to think now that you are somehow superior simply because of the texture of your hair.

I'm just a plain old white girl with oily hair! My good friend has a little girl who is mixed & she will be 1 next month. She is Beautiful!! Mixed people are very lucky because most are beautiful people! Just the right mixture! I think it is God's way of being kind since he can't control society & the actions of people, so many people give so much grief to mixed relationships! I think it is God's way of letting those people know....It is a beautiful thing no matter what color the people are.
