Well, atheists might live an easier life because they don't have to pretend, socialize, or follow a prayer-filled church-going life with other believers. If (like most baptist and pentecostal church-goers) you spend 5 hours in church 3 times a week, and all day sunday 8am-9pm, or 60 hours a month, + 2 hours of personal prayer everday, 116 hours, plus at least one eight hour comunity service day a month for their favorite charity, 124, plus at least one 8 hour day for the preparation of either festivals, fund raisers, mission-work, sunday school, or vacation bible school in the summer... 132 hours, but let's be honest, people can't really get enough of those little endevors and if you sneak an hour or two of prayer here and there (for a sick friend, for a bible study, for your kids in school, before eating every meal, etc) about 140-150 hours of holiness a month for an average church-goer. Considering they've a 9-5, they only work 160 hours a month, 10 hours more than what they spend at church. So it's like taking a second full-time job.

An atheist however might not get a big miracle like Christians do... but they might have time to get a second job, instead of asking god for more money in everyday prayer; and without having to go through the motions of giving anyone the right to judge them, plus you won't go through life wondering... is this what god wants me to do?

Of course, if you're an atheist you'll be called a witch, devil worshiper, devil-blessed or something stupid like that by Christians 150 hours a month... So mh... trade-off.

Christian would have a harder time in my opinion. They feel like they have to push antiquated laws upon people who not only refuse to follow these laws, but think they are absurd.

If I had to go out and tell everyone they needed to hop on one foot three times a day and yell "whoop!" because of the purple gorillas and invisible pink unicorns, well, that would suck.

Then again I live in one of the less religious states, so I'm sure atheists have a hard time in the bible belt, and if the majority of the people around you believe as you do it isn't that bad. I guess it depends where you live.

Piper, you can do any thing you like and ask your sky daddy for forgiveness so lose that argument. Atheists have a conscience.

"christians are more prosperous"
Tell that to bill gates and warren buffet.

I dont think it matters what you religious beliefs are. What matters is how you affect others, positive or negative based on those beliefs. And that can be Christians who have something to believe, but put limitations on what it is they believe. Somehow just by what they believe keeps them glued to those believes, and makes a seperation between themselves and the human experience. On the other hand you have Atheists who believe in nothing, and therefore have no limitations, so they can move freely, but in their ability to move so freely, if without direction where do they move too. It is the same but on different ends of the spectrum. So what matters is what direction they take and how they get there, the rest means nothing. I wish you well

Atheists have an easier life on earth. They are right where satan wants them, so he won't mess with them too much. The problem comes when they die...

Christians have life after death which more than makes up for their difficult on earth

Christians have it easier, they have much more support in our social system. Atheists are the most untrusted part of the American population. More than Satanists, Witches, Pagans, Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.

Buddha taught all suffering arises from desires and aversions (attachments).

If you're adamant your an atheist or a Christian, you're into labels, beliefs, opinions, etc.

Just let go, go with the flow, change your mind whenever you feel like it, be in the moment. Who said the easiest life was necessarily the funnest? Be whatever/whoever/however you feel like being in the moment, and know in the next moment you might choose something else.

Neither. No ones life is perfect. And god can not solve our problems for us. Atheists step up and try to fix their own problems(and struggle to do so) and christians trust in god to fix them(which of course never happens). In the end we all still have problems.

I think blind faith Christians and uneducated atheists are probably about the same in the ease of their everyday lives. I think the struggle begins with questions, and rational thinking. Then you get to a place where no one knows what in the hell is really going on so we are all stuck.

A-theists have it easier. They can define their own existance,
with no perceived consequence.
Christian have an example in Christ that is unattainable.
This is a hard life, but with Christ there is hope.

The atheists.
Because Satan "blesses" them giving them every thing.(This is one of Devil's tricks).
Satan gives the Christians trials and temptations.
But in the end Christians are the winners because God fights on behalf them.
