it seems that it has become a fashion and a custom of yahoo to allow these nasty and racist questions.
yahoo facilitates and encourages people to put nazi style questions about muslims.
why won't yahoo allow any criticism of hindus, and jews.
why has yahoo institutionalised the bashing of islam.
surly the controllers of this site must by jews and hindus.

my old account was suspended for asking a question on hinduism. i asked "does the hindu gods which is made from clay bleed when it breaks" and "does it talk".
do you find the above question in bad taste

hindus are actually killing their untouchable dalits for converting to christianity.

the irish IRA bombed this country for 30 years and killed 2700 people.
have the brits forgotten that.

i don't mind any criticism of islam.
all i'm asking is that i should be allowed to criticise other faths aswell. for doing so my account was closed.

Although I was told that Yahoo Inc (not only this site) is in Israel, that did not make me think they hate Muslims. I have to be fair, I see bashings at all religions/races/nations. May be the YA Admin do not have a monitor over the question until its reported? I wish to know too why this particular category has become a field for mocker? Some people just come here for fun (their own fun)...they ask 6 question in half an hour?
Your question regarding the Hindu gods, is mockery. If they choose to believe in gods and not the One God, that is their choice, why make fun of them? How can anything made out of clay have blood or talk?

I lost dear friends in the so called troubles OF COURSE I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN! I dont insult IRISH PEOPLE OR THEIR BELIEFS THOUGH!
I lost friends in the FALKLANDS TOO! I DONT INSULT ARGENTINIANS EITHER!
You feel that Islam is picked out or Being BASHED ! My daughter would say Jehovahs Witnesses are! Most people dont accept IT IS A RELIGION! YOU only notice the ones that affect YOU.

Yes I would say that question was in bad taste. It WAS INSULTING. Try asking if a Statue of Budda, Christ, or The Virgin Mary talks and see how many find that insulting! The Hindu Gods Made in clay are only REPRESENTATIONS OF THEIR FAITH! All Religions have them!

You obviously DO MIND Criticism or you wouldn't be asking the question!
Oh as I am AGNOSTIC you can insult/criticize me as often as you want!
I dont answer insults, Might answer a Criticism and if Asked Why I'm ONE I will answer!

A question and subsequently a person being shut down results on the number of reports.

If something is not reported, it is not checked out and it is not shut down. That's how the Y!A system works.

Sadly enough there is no real rhyme or reason behind the Y!A reporting system, where people are allowed to report wildly whatever they want and everything gets removed. Oh joy.

I don't support your opinion, I just don't like Yahoo!'s trigger happy reporting style.

It seems to me, as an atheist onlooker, that muslims are no more targeted than christians. If there are fewer mentions of judaism it's more likely to be because there are less jews on the site, or in the countries that use yahoo questions. It does seem however, that muslims are far more sensitive to critisism than most other religious groups. Which may explain why you percieve yourself as being targeted.

Because we live in a free country.

I do not agree with the views of a lot of people who ask and answer questions on here.I never report them.
I cannot and would not expect to have views that I do not share removed.
I have had plenty of questions and answers of varied subjects removed.I am sure that people who disagree with your views reported you(and me)
The people who reported you,are probably extremists of a different ilk.
Try not to take the site too seriously-it will end up very frustrating for you.

What about everyone else? It allows racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, anti-everything on here! That's life! Who says in life that you are not going to be offended? Being offended is just apart of the process of living. The Muslims need to get a grip and grow some balls and stop being so angry!

I have seen intolerably racist questions targeting Islam and Muslims but YA seems to tolerate the intolerable. But I am not in the least surprised. Hate papers about Islam and its religious figures are nowadays defended and encouraged in the name of freedom of speech, while issues related to important phases in the history of Jews, for example, may not be discussed under the law.

They allow alot of anti Pagan questions. I say it's free speach. I don't read the questions I find offensive. BTW, I am not condoning their behavior. In my country, Muslims are unfairly demonized so I think some of these people are just brainwashed by the American media.

so because your faith is critised u think that you have a right to criticise other faiths? this is why the small minded argument occur about all faiths. they are all fundementally flawed in 1 way or another. your comment about the irish bombings doesn,t hold water either. no i cant imagine the victims families have forgot but doesn,t most religions teach you to forgive? im sure this hasn,t changed your mind at all, but if u want a proper dicussion about this then feel free to im or e mail me.

I was tempted to say you shoud ask Al-Qaeda to add Yahoo headquarters to their target list, but that would be in bad taste.

Seriously I think mild to moderate criticism is OK whatever the religion, but when it degenerates into mindless garbage it becomes unacceptable.
