I really want to help you. Please listen.

Buy the first ring. It looks like an engagement ring. A larger center diamond is much better than a bunch of little ones.

The second choice, although pretty, is not suitable for an engagement ring, because is NOT an engagement ring. Please, allow me to tell you again: clusters are NOT a good choice for an engagement ring, more diamonds doesn't equal better ring. One pretty and bigger stone is much better than any cluster.

I went to the first vendor website and found a better alternative, just 75 pounds more than the first one. What I like about the one here :

I like it because the center diamond is biger and acentuated with a higher placement. I see that you REALLY like the little diamonds, but remember that you can match any solitair easily with a band that has little diamodns on it.

I'm glad to see that you have taken our advice... you have come along way!

Good luck and congrats AND LET US KNOW HOW IT WENT!

The first one, No.1 is the better choice. Why? Well, the larger single diamond will retain its value longer and is more typical of an engagement ring. The flower type ring is more like a dinner ring. The first one is a much better value and will catch the light better.I agree with your fiancee about simple being better. My choice was a single black diamond in a thin gold band. Good luck with your fiancee. I think whatever you choose ,she will LOVE it because of the love you share together!

I really like the first one, I too asked my hubby for a simple white gold ring, so the first is my favorite. I feel the first ring is more classic and elegant. Although, there is nothing wrong with the second. They are both really beautiful. She is lucky to have a man who put forth so much effort into getting a ring she will love. No matter which one you choose, she will love it. Congrats and good luck!

I like the first one myself. I also really like simple rings and have a single stone in a setting with engraved crosses as my engagement ring. But the setting is stand alone and doens't have the covers on each side to protect the setting itself so it gets caught in everything! If she is active or uses her hands the first one is the much better choice. It is a little harder to clean, but won't get caught up and risk losing the stone. Go for the first one.

I like option 2 with the flower shape. It will be a tiny ring though, I know the photo may be a little deceiving. The size will depend on her finger. Most girls are ring size 6-7, but you can always get it sized later.

I know you're having a bit of a problem with this, so let me just say jewelry is one of 3 items marked up over 500% (the other 2 are alcohol, and perfume).

Instead of going to a retail jewelry store, you might want to consider: wholesalers, bidz.com, ebay.com, and/or something along those lines. For the money you're able to spend, you will come out much better.

I won't personally comment on the rings because they're not for me and I don't know your fiance well enuf to say if she'd like them or not.

Hope this helps!! Good Luck!!

I much prefer the first one. It looks stunning, and I'm sure she'll love it.

Some people said they liked the arrangement of the diamonds on the second ring, but that it what put me off. I dislike flowery things, and that it what it reminds me of.

I think that I answered a previous question or two from you about rings, and they were all different links. Good luck, and I'm sure she'll love whichever one you pick.

They are both very nice, I like the second one a little better though. Have you tried ebay, you may be able to get something really nice there in your price range. Remember rings can always be sized. Good luck.

Man have you been busy, but you've GOT it! Both are really beautiful engagement rings! I prefer the first, with the larger middle stone. But there's nothing wrong with the second, it's special, too.
Congrats and good luck!

I like #1 from Ernest Jones...It's easier to match up to a wedding band

#2 just doesn't look like an "Engagement" ring; Promise or "Going out" ring, yes, but it just doesn't say "Hey - I'm engaged!!!".
