I am thinking - no. Please check out the link below. It states the drug facts about Mucinex. It says do not take if you are using any MAOI drugs, which is found in certain drugs for depression etc. You should ask your Doctor if you have any further questions...

Taking the two drugs together can cause a potential problem called serotonin syndrome. I don't recommend Mucinex DM with Paxil.
However, plain Mucinex shouldn't be a problem when taken with Paxil.

The danger in taking mucinex is too your wallet--the active ingredient is guaifenesin and it is readily available and has been out there for years...you can get it for less that $3 a bottle in say Robitussin and even cheaper in the generic...buyer beware! A cutsie little ad does not a new product make...
BTW: Paxil is fine with this drug...
