Remember muscle is heavier than fat and if you don't eat enough calories your body goes into storage mode. But I don't think the tubal has much to do with the weight loss. My wife had a tubal and she has no problem loosing weight. Every one is different so what works for one person might not work for you. Don't get down just keep plugging along and it will get better. My wife lost 30 lbs by just not drinking soda and using splenda. Its amazing how much weight sugar will make you gain. Oh and good vigorous sex really helps allot both physically and mentally. So have fun and don't worry about it so much

I had a tubal 9, wow almost 10 years ago.
I never had an issue with it interfering with weight loss or gain.
I did gain a lot of weight during an injury, but have lost it all.

I am not diet guru, I will tell you what has helped me lose 170 lbs in 14 months

I eat breakfast. It may be something small when I first get up, like a Nutrigrain bar, but if you do that, your metabolism starts running.

Eat frequently throughout the day. Just watch what you nosh on.
Counting calories is mainly what I did, but I changed where those calories were coming from, and how often.
If I am hungry, I eat something. Eating is a key. Also, water....that helps a lot.
Weight training, if you have or have not done that.
And cardio 5x a week.
Now, here is a major thing that I know works miracles for a slump....via my Marine Corps Trainer ( do or die.....most days I wanted to die)
Anyway, he had me switch things up every 3 weeks.
One week I would do one day of cardio, the next weights.
The next week, cardio for 10 min. then weights, then next day cardio.
Basically I am trying to keep this short, you need to send a shock to your body. If you do the same thing exercise wise day in and day out, you become used to it. Like eye glasses, you have to move up a notch so often, because we are not adapted to, and over than script.
Same thing with exercise. If your body does not know what you are throwing at it, it has to burn..and burn it will.
Sorry for the long explination, but it worked for me, 9 years after a tubal, and at 32 years old.
To Sum up, eat, eat first thing in the morning, eat frequently, and exercise in off sets every 3 weeks.

I hope this helps. Weight loss is hard, but you can do it.

Good Luck and God Bless
