No, it would clear my debts and leave me £20,000 which is enough to lose me my benefits but not enough to do anything with. I would not turn it down though

Do you mean as a salary, a winnings, a Christmas bonus, or what?

It's not much in the way of a salary, but it's a pretty decent bonus or winnings.

In terms of real estate, it'll buy you a fairly nice kitchen, or a rather extravagant bath.

It's not a lot to pay for a house, but it's WAY too much to pay for a phone bill.

In general, no, it's not a great deal of money.

Well, it depends on the area. To me that is a lot of money. To some it is a drop in the bucket. In large cities like Houston, Dallas, New York probably not much...Here in this small little hick town I live in it a fortune.

God bless,

If you are talking about using it to pay off some if not all of your debts then yes but unfortunately it wouldn't help much if you want to put a deposit down on a house the way the prices are going at the minute.

You could set yourself up for life with that kind of money if you used it correctly, but you could also blow it very quickly. A single car can cost that much. Most houses cost much more than that. On the whole, I would say that it's not really that much money.
