Either on-line or in store. Insurance has stopped paying for grandma's prescriptions and her monthly cost is now almost $700(!). If you know any urls for Canadian pharmacies (is that still legal?) that are reliable, that would be great - we have prescriptions for everything, just no money!

A news team in St Louis did a hidden survey on drug costs...not surprisingly all the BIG stores(walmart/ walgreens/ target/the local grocery chains) had virtually identical pricing...they all get offered the drugs at the same wholesale price; how they chose to gouge the consumer is up to them...Mom & Pop drugstores were the cheapest and Costco(you can order online from them)

I buy my synthroid from canandapharmacy.com. Eventhough we have insurance(HA!) it is cheaper to buy this drug from Canada and it is legal so far...several states buy drugs for state employees from Canada...

THe nursing home where my 99 year old grandmother now resides is absorbing several patients drug costs thanks to the feds new and improved(written by and FOR the drug companies)medicare plans...

To those responding you want meat as the first ingredient... Number 1 cats with kidney or liver issues need a lower protein diet so meat should never be at the top. For a healthy cat a high protein diet is good but with a medical condition like this it is not. FYI I wish I had the price list in front of me but Science Diet charges the vets a lot to buy the food as well, so much so you only make a couple dollars off each bad, and what most people don't know is that if you already carry 1 brand and want to bring in another the clinic gets charged extra to do so since they are not exclusively selling that particular brand. There is a new ID food for dogs only right now that IS low fat it comes in a purple not red can, maybe that's what they were trying to get you?

The medicare part D plan has a gap in coverage. You will quickly go over the gap, and than the insurance will cover everything else until the end of the year. There are special insurances which can be purchased for the gap. Open enrollment for Part D begins again on the 15th.
