It's a pretty common practice. Tarot is probably the biggest, and relatively easy to get into pretty quickly (although there is sooo much to learn about it...I've been studying it for eight years and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface). A lot of pagans like runes for the obvious pagan connections, although they're a bit harder to interpret, I think anyway. The I Ching is becoming more popular--I like it because you don't need anything special for it; a handful of change works fine. There's palm reading, of course, and there are indeed some who still use crystal balls. My favorite is black mirror scrying, which gives me the best results, but my method of using it is pretty darn time-consuming.

ETA: Forgot to add--it's in no way necessary for the practice of Wicca. But it is indeed very common.

Wicca is an ancient form of faith and healing through mother earth. As long as you practice White Wicca and not Black or Dark Wicca, God should not have a problem with it.
Fortune telling is done by those that are intuitive. Wiccans can be intuitive and generally are. They dont make it a habit of telling fortunes for others or for money. They do however cast spells for the betterment of the person or the earth or the earths creatures.

Get a good book on Wicca and read it. If you do not believe in it 100% move on it is not for you.

There are many different forms of fortune telling. Some Wiccans practice them, some do not. I read tarot cards. I also worked at scrying for some time, until my scrying mirror was broken (my doggie knocked it over). Many people use regular playing cards or runes as well. It's not required if you're Wiccan that you practice divination, but many do.

My girlfriend is a wicca. She practices tarot. But she is always quick to point out that they should always be used only as an indicator, they don't provide all the answers.

But yes, wiccan practices do allow of fortune telling (it's not compulsory!)

It can, but it doesn't have to. That's the great thing about Wicca. If you feel it should, then learn it. If you don't like it or have the knack for it, then leave it to someone else! :)

Just remember, "All acts of love and pleasure are my rituals."

Relax, have fun and devlop your relationship with The Gods and you'll be doing fine. :)

Yes it does. The Bible is actually fortune telling isn't it? Prophets(fortune tellers)....why would you be putting Wicca down? They are not the first to tell fortunes though, do you believe that fortune telling is a sin? Why, may I ask? ooops, sorry, you don't want Wicca to be put down...nope, I won't..Blessed Be!

Not every wiccan has to be a fortune teller. You can include it if you wish but there is no rule saying you have to!

'An if it harm none, do as ye will'

Bright Blessings!
