First you have to contract the herpes virus from being in close contact with someone who already has it. It is not something your body just develops. Once you have the virus you cant get rid of it but your immune system constantly fights it & keeps it at bay. Its only when your immune system is distracted and has to fight off another virus (like a cold) that the herpes virus is allowed to muliply and develop into physical symptoms - cold sores, which will only disappear when the body fights off the other infection & turns its attention back to the herpes.

If you have chapped dry skin on your lips or around them then your prone to infection. This is a sign your immunity is low, often happens when its cold and lots of illnesses about, a cold sore is a version of the herpes virus so once you get one the virus is always there even though it might be dorment in the skin and no obvious sign of it.

Why would you want to make a saw cold? Maybe put it in the freezer.

take the saw and put it in the fridge for a couple of hours.........OR............if its a cold sore you are talking about, then its cos you have had some fairly close contact with someone with the herpes virus. But its more common and less shocking than it sounds!

You can buy a normal saw, and simply put it in the freezer. It is likely to shatter when you cut wood with it though.

I do not understand the question. What saw are you trying to make colder. Is it a wood saw, or a hack saw or even a chain saw?

You leave it out in the snow after cutting wood. Or do you mean a cold sore?

Leave it in the freezer. For a cold sore, however, you could try kissing somebody with Herpes!
