She's able to get pregnant when she has her first heat. However, she's not mature enough either physically or mentally until much older. It depends on the breed - no large breed dog should be bred before 2 years of age, smaller dogs can be bred a bit younger.
However, it's much healthier for her to be spayed. A dog should not be bred unless there's a very valid reason for doing so.

dogs can get pregnant as early as six months old. A dog comes in heat two times a year. If she was mated during the time that she was in heat yes she could become pregnant. There are many good sources of information about this topic at the library or at your local pet store.

Female dogs become sexually mature (have their first heat) between 5 and 12 months of age. Small breed dogs tend to have their first heat around 5-6 months, while some giant breed dogs will not start to cycle until they are 18-24 months of age.
Although most dogs are sexually mature by one year of age, dogs should not be used for breeding until they are at least 2 years of age.
Depending on your breed, anywhere from 5 months of age.

She can most definitely get pregnant now... NOT that she SHOULD. Responsible breeders typically wait until at LEAST 18mo... many until 2yrs of age. Additionally, if you don't know... you probably shouldn't be breeding anyway. PLEASE fix your animal! Unless your dog is a purebred AND show/breeding QUALITY (this doesn't have anything to DO with how "great" of a dog she is), DONT BREED HER. Shelters are overrun with dogs, including purebreds. MILLIONS (yes, millions) of animals are euthanized every year in the US because there aren't enough homes. If you don't believe me, go to petfinder.com and search for your dog's breed, or just for dogs in your area. There will be plenty.
If she IS a purebred AND show/breeding quality, consult with a reputable breeder in your area. They're generally more than willing to take someone under their wing and show them the ropes, to ensure responsible breeding and betterment of the breed.

The best time to breed is 2 or 3rd heat cycle.

unfortunately yes. she's plenty old enough for you to add to the over population of unwanted pets. before she gets pregnant, go to a shelter and look at all the unwanted dogs that are there. then i hope you have enough sense to make an appointment to get her fixed.

Your pet could get pregnant now if she was bred, but would suggest you don't breed her unless this is her second season,or at least two years old.

as long as she has a heat cycle she can get pregnant. If no heat cycle then no way.
Kind of like humans if we don't have a period and start puberty then nothing can happen.( usually they have heat cycles between 6months and 1 year.)

I don't think there's a specific age. Once the animal goes into heat, then she's ready. Oh God, that reminds me. I have to buy some more diapers for Brownie-Eye. Gross, lol.

PLEASE do not breed your dog. I'm sure that you know there are thousands of dogs in shelters dying every day. Why add to the problem?
