Well, you probably should get to the doctor. I know it's scary but the earlier you detect a cancerous growth the better -- it can be removed, you can receive treatment and you can recover faster. But, what if you don't have cancer? Then all of this worrying yourself and stress will be for nought. That is why it is best for you to see a doctor. Do you have a family doctor? Someone you feel comfortable with? How about starting at school and discussing these things with the school nurse? You're old enough to have a gynecologist -- do you have one yet? Well, before you make yourself crazy with worry... really, talk to someone and see a doctor about your symptoms.
As for your issues. Maybe those lumps in your breast are actually breast development. I can't remember how long the "buds" stage was supposed to last but... it sounds familiar. When you say that they feel small, sometimes larger and sometimes sore, have you noticed the soreness and size change around PMS time? Maybe it's very normal.
Blood in your #2. Is it a lot of blood? You may have developed an ulcer from worrying yourself so much. Blood in the stool is often a sign of ulcers. You may also have simply BM issues and have irritated your um, bum. There are tests that I think you can buy from any pharmacy (I think that you have to ask the pharmacist because they keep them at the counter) -- but there is a test you can buy to test your #2. I think that you send a sample (like a dipped sample or smear sample) to a lab on the package and they can make basic, early colon cancer determinations. Ask your local pharmacist.
Throat cancer? I don't know anything about this except that you should see a doctor. I suspect that you have a touch of hypochondria going on here and that you may have psychosomatically given yourself some symptoms that are simply worry-symptoms. For the cases of throat cancer that I've heard of, I think that the people were very heavy smokers.
Because you have had cancer in your family, it is good and prudent to be aware of the genetic odds of it traveling in your genes. However, I caution you about getting too worried about these issues without getting professional advice. Mind over matter -- *think* yourself healthy and your body will respond.

Anyone at any age can have cancer, even 16 year old girls. What you need to do is to learn to 'read' your body and find out what is 'normal' or 'not' normal. If you believe that the lumps you feel in your breast area is not normal than insist on being taken seriously. Talk to your mother or an adult that you trust immediately. Tell them your concerns and ask for help in going to see a doctor. It is very important to always be taken seriously when it comes to health issues. If you suspect or fear that something is wrong with you become insistent that you be examined by a doctor. If your mother or father do not believe you, or your friends think that you are silly, do not listen to them. Only you know what is going on with your own body. I know literally a hundred kids who have cancer whose medical complaints were not taken seriously until it was too late.
From your description of what is taking place, if I were your Mom I would take you to see a doctor. I would ask the doctor his opinion, and if I was not satisfied with the answer I would continue looking for answers until I found out exactly what is wrong with you. No one on this board knows if what you have described is serious or not, the only way to know for sure is to be evaluated.
It is probably unlikely that the breast issue, blood in stool, or throat problem are related. Cancer does not generally behave in the way that you describe. My son had widespred abdominal sarcoma with tumors in spleen, large and small intestine, rectum, liver, diaphragm, chest wall, lympth nodes, and spots on lung. Before my son was diagnosed he was asymptomatic . . he had no clue that he had that much cancer. The only indication that there was a serious problem was that he felt uncomfortable and didn't feel very hungry. There was no pain . . it was not until his belly started filling with fluid that we became aware how serious it was. He had also told me that he could feel something hard (lumps) in his abdomen, but I didn't listen to him because he was a young, healthy looking athlete.
Please go see a doctor immediately and insist on getting some answers.
Good luck, sweetie.

It is very unlikely you have cancer, especially given your age. Most of these symptoms also occur because of common, benign conditions. The lumps in your breast for instance is likely to be normal tissue (the change in size especially suggests this - to do with "time of the month"). Blood in your faeces along with irritation is often a sign of IBS or way more often a bad diet (you're 16 - I'm guessing it's not the best in the world! Eat more fruit and veg, and more fibre. Sort you right out). Sore throats could also be due to bad diet if you're not getting all your nutrients.
However, I would still suggest you got to see your doctor, for no other reason that I'm fairly sure you won't be reassured until you do. S/he will tell you roughly the same thing as people have here.

Well first off I would say..Calm down! Naturally you are going to be more concerned than most people because of your family history, but obsessing like this is not good for you whether you have cancer or not. First and foremost I would say go to a doctor and have a complete physical. This will not only give you a profile of your overall condition it can alert the doctor to anything unusual or things that need to have attention. Secondly go online to websites. I recommend The American Cancer Society, and get educated about cancer, the more you know the less you need to be unsure about. Thirdly do not listen to everything you hear! Maybe somebody does know somebody who had this or that, but don't allow that to alter your thinking. If you hear something look into it, investigate, and if it turns out to be true deal with it then. Don't think you are going to die because someone you knew had a mole that killed them! Maintain your perspective. Forth: Try to remember that there have been huge advancements in medicine in the last 20 years, and cancer is no longer a guaranteed death sentence. Many, many people have cancer, receive treatment and go on to lead healthy happy lives. You are still young, and if you maintain a healthy lifestyle you are likely to go on to a long life as well. Good Luck!

First of all, you probably do not have cancer, especially at age 16. But you can always get a medical evaluation. Get blood work such as a complete blood count and chemistry profile. Blood in your stool? More likely to be hemorrhoids, but again you can get a medical evaluation. Since you are female, when you become sexually active, you will need pap smears. Also, avoid smoking and second hand smoke. Nutrition is important too. Don't get fat, take vitamin D supplements, get some sun, but not too much. Supplements? Research shows that curcumin and reservetrol (red wine or grape extract) may help prevent cancer. Keep up with research. Cancer cures are coming, such as finding ways to eliminate cancer stem cells and immunotherapy. Did you know they have discovered cancer immune mice that can cure other mice with cancer by transferring their white blood cells? If they can do this in humans, may be a universal cure for cancers.

Go to the doctor, tell him your concerns. Their are test that can show the likelyhood of later developing cancer and you can put your mind at ease and also you are young enough to do some prevention by excercise, staying away from drugs, etc. A lot of things present with the symptoms you are describing and with your age cancer is really at the bottom of a very long list. Good luck and go to the doctor and get some peace on this.

The chances of cancer love are very small. Cancer scares people so bad, I hear you. I suspect what you are experiencing is your body changing & maturing. Soon enough all this will work out. You are clearly a young girl, & as such it is good for you too ask your questions. Later in life what you have learned could save your life. Your mother, grandmother, or a school nurse is a good bet to talk to. They have been where you are & done all this stuff. Trust them to help. Tell your mother what you just told us. The truth of your fears, & let her help you. May not know it but she is truly your best friend. I hate to see you so scared. Please go to her. Good luck.

Summer...Please dont worry yourself endlessly. If your really scared talk to your mom and ask her to take you to the doctor.
But..It sounds to me like your breasts are developing and your turning into a woman. Its normal for your breasts to be sore or tender while in the developmental stage and just before menses. And yes..they feel like round strange lumps.
As for the blood in your stool, Its probly just hemoroids bleeding. (Unless it is frequent ...like every time you go) In that case you should see a doctor asap.
