Don't pay attention to her and don't even seem phased by all the crap she says about you. Guys don't like when girls gossip and he will be very turned off by this girl. But when he sees you unaffected by all the crap being said about you he will think wow this girls got confidence and he will find that very attractive

The easiest thing to do is not to pay her any attention. The "crap" true or false will work itself out. If he likes you he will ask around about you on his own. If you do or say anything to her you look as bad as she does, plus she has something to run back to the "Hottie" with. It will be something along the lines of, " Do u know what she said, about...."Don't give her more crap to say. Better to smile and say nothing. Then to open mouth and insert foot. Which will lose the "Hottie".

Do not stoop to her level and do something stupid.
If the "hottie" believes what she is saying then he is SO not worth your time. If he listens to her instead of asking you about it or telling her to shut up then he won't ever think the best about you.
Women have this trouble all the time. We worry way too much about what others think about us.
Act like the good person you are and it will work out. Get nasty and drop to her level and you lose out.
Hang in there ... it does get better.

I would just ignore the younger girl, and just talk straight to the guy, and he will realize that she is full of crap

walk up to her and say smoothly :"you must be the girl who they've been talking about in school.So how is the crap business working out?" that should shut her up because it will embarass her.
