It seems very vain for a God to create the world and the entire universe simply to hear our praise and for us to beg Him to allow our miserable and undeserving souls into heaven when we die.

God wants us to return the love that he gives to us.

Is it vain to want the one you love to love you back? Is that a longing that you would place in the "vanity" category?

Have you ever really loved someone who didn't love you back? Was it a problem with your vanity that made you yearn for their love?

No. All true love wishes to be reciprocated. Not to fan the flames of ego, but to perfect the love.

Have you ever loved someone truly, and wanted to offer them all sorts of good things, and just knew that if they would give you the chance they would come to know you and would return the love? Have you ever wished to provide them with great things but were unable because they didn't want the love you offered? Was it all about you, or was it all about them? Did you want them to blossom and flourish and grow and thrive as the result of your love?

God wants us to love him so that we may receive what he has to offer us. Which is greater than what any human love can provide. But if we continually say "no" to him, he cannot give to us what is his to give, because he respects us and loves us enough to let our "no" be a "no."

God would appreciate our co-operation.
He made things, therefore He knows best how it should run.
Even a washing machine comes with instructions.
Its best to follow those instructions if we want the best out of it.
It doesn't mean we are a slave to the manufacturer, does it?
It simply means the maker of something knows best about the product and others should be humble enough to co-operate.
If we can oooh and aaah over a nicely made car, or singer/songwriter ....why can't we give God his due as well?
BTW we don't go to heaven.
Psalm 115:16 says the heavens belong to God. He gave us the earth.
Psalm 37:29 says the original idea was for us to live on it forever.
That original idea has not been forgotten.
Timing is everything.

Yes, God wants ur Praise and adoration but He wants u to serve Him. Yeah, it seems horrible but if u B faithful to God, He will be faithful to you. You don't have to beg God either, He wants to give you life. He gives u a choice and a way to Heaven (see Acts 2:38). You can accept or reject.

There is a deliberate and ordered heirarchy in heaven, and everyone knows their place in it. You can see it in the smallest of things even within the "chaos" of life that we call Earth. On a molecular level, what holds us together looks incredibly complex, orderly and artistic. In the same way, is heaven. It is fulfilling our hearts, our intellect and our everything. Here on Earth, we constantly feel that we are missing something, that we need something, but we don't know what. Here there is pain to teach us life's lessons. In heaven, there is perfect understanding. However, the one thing you cannot understand is the motives of God, for no one completely can.

All we have to do is admit that we are sinners and ask Him to forgive us, and invite Him to come live in our hearts everyday and make us clean. You don't beg Him--you just come to Him just as you are. He judges our hearts and our intent when we do things. I personally love to worship Him and give Him praise because I am certainly not worthy of His love. Everyday, I try to grow spiritually and expand my relationship with Him--even though, I keep making the same mistakes over and over and I keep having to ask Him for forgiveness and allow Him to pick me up so I can start again tomorrow. He challenges us to follow Him and be the best that we can be--for Him, and why not? He was beaten and tormented for all our sins--He loved you so much that He died for you--and He is just waiting for you to come with faith like a little child. He will do the rest.

Love. Love is the one thing God can't get from creatures that have no freedom of choice. The laws of Nature are automatic. This is good. But it is not as fulfilling as a love relationship.

God wants us to be truly happy. He knows that he is the only way for that to happen. Our hearts are restless until they rest in you oh Lord. (from St. Augustine)

God just wants us to embrace peace and love and understand that he is not here to judge us but to teach us.

God is a Father....that is like saying it is vain for our parents to supply a roof over our heads, send us to school and then actually EXPECT us to LOVE them. Pretty vain hugh?
