My gf used to always swallow. Now she doesn't. She says she never liked to swallow but tried to get used to it and couldn't. Should I insist? I know she would comply.

Your probably nervous around others whom your not use to seeing alot (new people), you'll get use to it in due time, and about your swallowing problem just carry around a poland spring water bottle your throat won't be so dry and swallowing won't be so neccesary! Hope I helped =)

Ok, probaby the only reason she did swallow was to make you happy.
She didnt do it because she liked it, she just wanted you to like her more. (Believe me, i would know about all this.)
You should not insist because that would make her feel worthless, and lonely, like you are just using her. When you do that sort of thing, it puts feelings of worthlessness in the girl, it makes her feel bad about herself.
So please dont force her, I know what shes going through. And to tell you the truth, even though girls may tell you "I dont mind", and that "it tastes fine", they really think that it is disgusting, so try and be more sensitive and pay attention to her feelings.

no. let me say this. I've been married for 18 years and 18 years ago, that is what spoiled our relationship in the bedroom. we've never been the happy couple since. it's been 17 years of married living seperately.
people should never insist the other person in the relationship do something they are not comfortable doing.
true love and respect does not require this kind of sacrifice of the one you love.
you should thank her from the bottom of your heart for trying it just to make you happy. that took guts. and you should seriously let her know how much you appreciate it.

If she isn't swallowing your protein shake anymore maybe she's found a better tasting one somewhere else. I'd ask her about that.

Hell no, you need to respect her wishes. That stuff isn't exactly delicious, so how bout you just be greatful that she evn does it in the 1st place because a lot of girls don't.
