The recipe for pizza dough is as follows.
1 1/3 cups warm (110 degrees) water
2 1/4 tsp yeast
3 to 3 1/2 cups flour
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil plus some to oil the bowl

Place the warm water in a mixing bowl and add the yeast, srpinkle some sugar over the top to help it rise. Add the flour 1 cup at a time while mixing with the dough hook. Pour in olive oil. Continue adding flour until the dough no longer sticks to the bowl. Remove from mixer and shape into a ball. Place in the oiled bowl and allow to rise for about an hour and a half or until doubled in size. Punch down the dough and roll out on a floured surface. Place in your pan and allow it to rise again to get a thinker crust. Top and cook.

1 1/2 cups warm water
2 (1/4-ounce) packages active dry yeast or 5 teaspoons
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white cornmeal
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 teaspoons salt
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, pour in warm water and sprinkle yeast on top. Let stand 10 minutes or until bubbling.
While yeast is standing, melt butter and let cool. Once yeast bubbles, stir in butter.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar and salt. Stir into the yeast mixture.
Turn out on lightly floured surface and knead, adding additional flour as necessary.
Put dough into greased bowl; cover, let rise in a warm place about 1 hour or until doubled in size. Punch down to release air and press into a pizza pan.
Cover with sauce and desired toppings; bake until browned, about 10 to 15 minutes.

My favorite pizza dough recipe is 2 heaping tablespoons of dry active yeast(one envelope), one tablespoon of sugar, one teaspoon of salt, 1/2 cup of oil and 8 cups of flour. Makes 2 huge crusts and freezes well just thaw at room temp.
