There are 2 transmissions available on the durango, depending on the model you are looking at...
..... both of them are automatic.
Although the Multi-Speed overdrive automatic tranny is supposed to be pretty nice, especially when hauling.

I am a Dodge dealer. The Durango is not made with a manual transmission. I have seen two in which the owners removed the automatic and replaced it with a manual. Both vehicles were already out of their warranty. If you made such a modification on a vehicle under warranty, you would void the warranty.

They exist at least in the first generation (98 - 03), very few of them came with a NV3500 which is a medium duty, 5-speed, constant mesh, fully synchronized manual transmission. The NV3500 was used with 3.9L and 5.2L engines and is available in 2WD and 4WD configurations.
But it's going to be as the needle in the haystack.
