What would I need to buy if I wanted to make my own beef jerky at home?

Beef knuckle is what I use...very lean. Soy sauce, and spices that you like, a bit of sugar...

Unless you want to do it the hard way in the sun, buy a food dehydrator and a bunch of your favorites seasonings and spices. Some folks use london broil cut others use flank steak but any beef cut into fine strips will be fine. A friend of mine makes it and it is delicious.

if you already have all the spices you want to add than you need to buy nothing. You can use a food dehydrater but you can also make it in your oven, have the heat on 100 F. freeze the meat slightly before slicing, it is easier toget nice thin slices that way.

A food dehydrator. I use london broil. I freeze it first then cut it. Freezing it makes it easier to cut and it stays together better. Then follow a jerky reciepe.
