I happen to love the Leapster. We have the My-first Leapster and the Leapster L-Max. There are SO many games and they are fun to play. (My husband and I get a kick out of playing these games too!) I love all the different games. You are bound to find something that would interest the pickiest child.

The biggest reason I would recommend the Leapster is because it is a wonderful company. We have had minor issues with various components and the customer help line and staff are very friendly, helpful, and are willing to bend over backwards to help you fix or replace any piece of the whole component....and even the whole component

The Leapster might be more expensive, but it would at least grow with her.

The Vsmile is great!!! I recommend that, plus they have several stages of them. I have the Vsmile baby, only bad thing about the baby one is there are only 4 "games" for it. And my other son has the Vsmile (ages 3-7). And i see they have one for older kids too. I like the games because they are popluar things (dora, spiderman, spongebob, baby einstein) and they actually TEACH things. I don't care much for leapster products. Some are okay, but I thought Vsmiles was a really cute thing!!

i did no longer get my youngsters video games until eventually they have been older. that they had a great infants & my daughter is a vast reader & son is a great athlete. no longer having videogames as a youthful toddler forces them to play exterior, study, draw or do different issues that are substantial to their progression. while my son replaced into 7 & daughter replaced into 12 we offered a wii gadget because of the fact we theory it would be a manner for them to get exersize while it relatively is chilly out/snowing. Now that they are even older, we basically have been given an xbox so as that they could play with their pals on the city while it relatively is snowing and so forth. i do no longer think of you choose those interest structures while they're little although, under 8, do no longer provide in to make certain tension. this is basically my opinion although. I additionally do no longer enable television of their rooms until eventually they're youngsters & could ought to decompress from the quantity of homework they have. sturdy success.
