It is NOT demonic.
Learn your history.
Halloween was a Pagan holiday that Christianity couldn't seem to stamp out. So, rather than continue to try, they turned it into a big joke where everyone dresses up and begs for candy.
Next thing, it is NOT a holiday.
meaning... Holiday
"Based on the words holy and day, holidays originally represented special religious days. The word has evolved in general usage to mean any special day of rest (as opposed to regular days of rest such as the weekend).
In most of the English-speaking world a holiday is also a period spent away from home or business in travel or recreation (e.g. "I'm going on holiday to Malta next week"), the North American equivalent is "vacation". However, some Canadians (especially those of British or Irish descent) will use both the terms vacation and holiday interchangeably when referring to a trip away from home or time off work."
It isn't a "holy day". And no one gets time off work to participate. So it's not a holiday.
It's just a fun day to dress up in ridiculous costumes and get candy.
I really think people need to stop obsessing over things they obviously don't understand. Or do their own bloody research (it takes 30 seconds to type a word or two into wikipedia and read the article) before making false claims.
The only person you have to blame is yourself if you're not educated.

How is Halloween demonic? As for the preacher who dressed as the devil, I would think that guy has a great sense of humor. Just because you dress up as something doesn't mean you really are that thing. You're taking what is just a fun, silly holiday way too seriously.
By the way, Christmas was a Pagan holiday too. So was Easter.

Halloween is a Christian holiday, and always has been. The closest argument that you can give for it being a Pagan holiday is that, long after its creation, the date of Halloween (All Hallow's Eve) was changed to coincide with that of a Pagan holiday - and that reasoning was likely to assist in conversion efforts.
Just because they happen at the same time does not necessarily mean that they are related.

I totally agree with you.
I have seen many churches contradicting their beliefs they once had.
Halloween; it's a (GAL.4:8-10)pagan day because I have did the research.
I and my family don't celebrate this day; we acknowledge it as any other day.
To myself, I know it's a demonic day. I have seen on television a long time ago that these people celebrated Halloween and had an evil spirit in their house. The pastor took the evil spirit out, but next Halloween, it happened all over again.
I wished people came to realize how Halloween is evil and that noone should celebrate it.

But as the saying goes; they have a choice of what they want to believe in; no matter if it hurts God or their children or themselves.
IS HALLOWEEN HARMLESS FUN?

not really. It depends what you actually do on that day. It's like the hundreds of so called christians or catholics that celebrate Christmas without even celebrating Jesus; i think its the same way if we celebrate Halloween without celebrating the devil. We can celebrate our holidays as religious or as pagan as we individually want. For me Halloweenis just an occassion for dressing up, seeing my friends and having fun with them as I would do in any other party or holiday!

Halloween was NEVER a demonic holiday!!! It is a day that many pagan faiths used to remember their ancestors. Explain to me how honoring your deceased loved ones is DEMONIC??!?!
And you freakin' stole EVERYTHING from us - Christmas, Easter, the tree, the bunny, the DATES!!! If I hear one more person say that Halloween is demonic I'm going to snap, I swear.
Grrrrrr.

No halloween is not a demonic holiday! Why would demons need a holiday? You need to research the origins of halloween a little better.

who cares? people love holidays and they just want to have fun! they are not celebrating it cause they are believing in all that they just want to dress up in wild costumes or as superheros. And Halloween is the only day in the year where they have the opportunity to dress as someone you always admired or just being goofy. and people have something they can look for. and the kids love it, too. which kid would say no to tons of candy or take revenge on his neighboor by runing his front yard for not taking you serious cause you are just kid. so let the people their fun on halloween .

I think if you are celebrating Halloween in a witches fashion this would be bad. I if you are giving into the commercialism and your kids are trick or treating I don't thing that is a problem. As for a preacher who dresses as the devil, I have a problem with that. *
