The Bible is the Standard in Christianity. The Bible places the age of the earth about 6200 (+/-150) years, whereas evolution dates the earth about 4.5 billion years. Evolution places death before sin. Dinosaurs died millions of years ago, but the first sin about occurred in the first 100 years after creation. These two will not add up.

They're not wrong, they're seeing the truth.

Evolution is a fact, it is thoroughly documented in all natural sciences, especially the fields of geology and astronomy.

God gave you a brain to think with.... why do you think that is? To blindly follow misguided religious leaders like sheep? or to see the world around you and try to understand the wonders of what God created?

Evolution and the Bible are not at odds at all, if you seek to understand both. The only thing that is at odds is man's narrow-minded, literal interpretation of a story about creation that was passed down word-of-mouth for hundreds (maybe thousands) of years before it was even written down the first time (by man).

Anybody that understands the Big Bang theory understands that everything came out of nothing. How is that any different that the Biblical account?

Wake up and pull your head out of the sand.

I think that the two can coexist in that Creation could appear like Evolution to our minds and eyes. Still I trust the account as it is laid out in Scripture. I don't have a problem with churches that are trying to see how Evolution and Creation might come to terms with each other, but I think it is a needless distraction and pointless waste of energy. What does it matter if scientists have some other view of the origin of man when we are confident that God is the only one who really knows and is the one in charge?

That's right, they can not coexist. It takes a lot more faith to believe in evolution than it does in creation. Evolution is basically a belief system folks have designed who will never believe there is a God.

I have always believed the two coexist. While I believe that God created all the universe, that does not mean that it can not be explained in science. That could very well be part of the Lord's genius or one of his tests. He may want to see that even if we can prove a biological method versus a spritiual one, that we will still believe he is the almighty. God is capable of ANYTHING, that is what everyone needs to remember.

i've got faith proper species can mingle and create new species like horses and donkeys bobbing up mules. yet i do no longer think there is any info in any respect interior the fossil record or otherwise that shows how primates developed into **** sapiens, or 2 legged animals into 4, and so forth... some million years would not sound long sufficient for each of the genetic changes mandatory to make issues as complicated and as diverse because of the fact the species we now see to take place needless to say - without intervention from an smart god-like source. additionally, no person is familiar with if the universe is limitless of finite or what befell "until eventually now the great bang". there is greater than a number of enormous question marks. right here is yet another doozy for ya: what if the universe as we realize it, with the regulations of physics that we try to understand is a factor of a much bigger lattice like string concept or the multiverse, or basically a subset container of yet another universe a techniques previous what our contraptions could nicely be conscious. What if there replaced right into a source like the magnet of a magnetic container. What might the source appear like? i think of as human beings if we decrease ourself to attempting to make experience of something that we won't be able to understand to be actual with the procedures that we at the instant have, we quit making use of the main efficient present we've - our mind's eye... Like while human beings theory the worldwide replaced into flat.

To suggest evolution took place is to deny God created the universe and all in it. They can not coexist. Non-Christians are the evolutionists.

Because any church teaching that God used evolution is contradicting the Bible. God made everything in 6 24hr days, He rested on the 7th, thats what the Bible says.

Easy - The bible is a story with a moral (whether or not you agree with it) on how the universe was created. Evolution is the scientific model based on evidence and data that explains in a natural way how the universe and live evolved.

If you want to believe in Theistic Evolution and sleep soundly at nights then nobody is going to argue with you.

IMHO
