Dear Genius, the majority on welfare are white Americans. Furthermore, most illegal aliens are god-fearing, law abiding people who work here, raise a family and keep to themselves. Your problem is ignorance, but it is not my place to teach others. Fact is, we should deport any illegal immigrant caught breaking a law...not jail them for years and then deport them. We should be recruiting intelligent immigrants, just like the NBA recruits tall talented players. Finally, why is it that the most unintelligent, biased morons quote statistics? Any dick can place a number next to a stated idea and call it a statistic. When quoting them, try going directly to a credible source. Any formerly free American media corporation, like Fox News, CNN, or such, are biased in their own right. With Project/Operation Mockingbird, American media are now the puppy dogs of the USG...so please either use the DOJ or Census statistics, or stop making them up.

How disappointing that you think that about illegal immigrants; you are generalizing because not all immigrants steal "SOME POOR UNSUSPECTING AMERICANS IDENTIFICATION AND PAY TAXES WITH IT." Of course so easy for you to say that because you are in a rich country (at least rich when compared to other countries such as Mexico). Be grateful that you never had to leave your country for another because then you will think very differently about this issue.

Why do they think we should support them? Who knows...I'm sure their perspective on the matter is that we owe them somehow.

Why do they think they are being abused? You know...any excuse will do for these people. They are all as*wipes. They want more and more and more and more and do not want to do anything to get it. You know what...I run my own cleaning business...I would rather be picking fruit. Its an easier job! And this is not to say that illegal immigrants are the only ones who would pick fruit. This is a whole other topic and I do not want to start ranting.

To the people who think America is rich: America is rich? America is in this huge unpayable debt right now. America cant support everyone in the world, everyone expects America to, but i know that America is in debt. America cant even take care of itself now and they dont tell the others about the debt but they will just raise the taxes, hoping to pay of the unpayable debt. Good luck to Bush and his government.

the danger in your line of argument is that it only shows one side. If it's true that $90B is spent a year (no reason to believe it's not true), then answer me how much are employers saving by illegally hiring non-residents and escaping from paying minumum wage, matching social security and medicare?

People come across the border for the same reasons your ancestors and mine did - to have a better life for their families.
